The voices inside my head fill me with dread.
They keep me up till the late hours in bed.
The voices call to me.
Faces I cannot see.
They scare me till I'm far past pale.
Everyone thinks I'm off the rail.
But, I'm not insane.
And, I shall not refrain,
from speaking on
the voices in my brain.

I was eating breakfast at the island counter in the kitchen when my mom returned from the laundry mud room with a brown box.
"What is that?" I asked curiously, my mouth full of chewed bread.
"It's the Alkaline Water Machine." she replied with a smile. "I'm gonna try setting up before Dean gets here."
Apparently, the Alkaline Water machine was a machine that gave you water that helped you lose weight as well as help you with digestion. I was excited about the losing weight part as well as the rest of my family.
When Dean arrived; with his white hair and strange, picky social graces, I quickly fled, trying to give them their space as well as trying not to make human contact with any outsiders.
At the time, conversing with the outside world was only acceptable for me via Facebook and Instagram. And school. I was kind of forced to mingle there or become a social alien. Which, I was not acceptable with.
Anyway, I went off to my room to chill out and get ready for school. I was glad I had Dean as an excuse to not do the dishes.
