Chapter 12:

*Louis’ POV*

I’ve never felt more peaceful in my life. The past few years in One Direction have been great, but they’ve made me forget how wonderful it is to be somewhere new and not have a single care in the world.

When we arrived in South Africa a few days ago, I had everything planned so that we would be staying at a secluded resort where we could just lay around and do whatever we want without being mobbed with fans, and no one knows we’re here.

The press is going insane because no one could find Harry and I to take paparazzi photos. We are the most wanted couple because we had just come out, and we got tons of hate, and lost a lot of fans, but the band agreed that it was all for the better. We are happy, and our friends thought that this was that most important thing.

Yesterday we decided to go out on a boat with a really nice old couple we meet at the resort. Ricky and Lucy were the sweetest people you could imagine. South Africa is known for its sharks apparently, so we went out on the ocean, just to look at sharks. (A/N: Hi Jenny.)

Out on Seal Island, sharks just jump out of the water and catch seals! It’s really sad for the seal, but so cool to see! I’ve never seen anything like it! I know that Harry loves sharks, so the day was really great for him.

The best part is that I realized him and I never get to do this kind of thing anymore, we really don’t have the free time to just spend the day doing cool stuff together without management ruining it.

We leave tomorrow morning though, and I’m really disappointed. I spent the day today packing and sitting in the pool for hours, just floating. Harry packed all his stuff up as well, and told me to meet him at 5 pm in the courtyard for dinner.

At around 4:30 I decided to start getting ready, I took a shower and put on some decent clothes, and then I walked down to the courtyard.

 I found Harry standing under the gazebo that was decorated in Christmas lights. He had set up a small table with two chairs, and a candle in the middle. On the plates were tacos, of course.

I smiled from ear to ear, “Harry, I love you.”

“I know, I love you too Boo Bear.”

As we sat down to eat Harry added, “This has been the best trip in my life Louis, and its only because I got to spend it with you.”

“I agree, we’ve finally had some time to ourselves, away from management and everything. I love it.”

After we had desert, Harry and I took a walk out to the beach, and walked along the shore. Our toes sinking into the sound, our hands intertwined. Harry started to sing to me out of nowhere, his voice sounded amazing singing one of my favorite songs by our friends All Time Low.
