The sun rays slipped through the small window, touching her smiling face gently while she was moving around the room.

She did not need to pack a lot of things in her small bag but the look of excitement could not leave her face.

The moment she heard that Elmer was doing well, all of her worries vanished.

Adelia's eyes could reflect joy and warmth, she could not wait to be able to see him again, holding tight into the necklace he gave her and the bag full of the stuff she had gathered in the past year.

Mostly her precious writings that no one knew of.

Taking a deep breath, and one last look into that small mirror before heading outside and leaving behind an empty room that was no longer hers.

Hawk walked towards the back of the house where a magical looking black mere stood.

Silas was eating some grass, her braids falling down, hiding most of her face.

"Hey there"

Hawk said while walking closer towards her.

The moment she saw him, her eyes were filled with joy, Silas walked towards him, while glancing around in excitement, hoping to see Elmer nearby.

He suddenly felt something touching his feet which startled him, yet once he looked down he had such a gentle expression on his face.

"Your majesty"

One of the guards said before opening the door and walking in.

"The study is ready"

He then added.

Elmer smiled nodding his head while walking out and leaving whatever secret he discovered there behind him.

While walking in the hallways followed by two guards, he saw Betty and the little prince walking in the opposite direction.

Crossing paths too soon, while Edmund his behind Betty's skirt, she stopped and bowed her head waiting for Elmer to pass by.

She did not expect him to leave the guards behind and walk towards her.

"Betty, how are you?"

He asked.

Taking a closer look at those tired eyes that he tried to cover up with his bright smile was very worried for him.

"Did you sleep well?"

She found herself asking.

Elmer smiled replying,
