A/N:  THIS IS A SHORT ONE

Stalin's POV:
Lenin arrives at our "spot" (which is just a specific bench) at the exact time we agreed.
Punctual as always.
When he gets close enough to see my face I give him an expression that says "I fucking hated the last couple of hours".
He just laughs and wraps me up in a warm hug, sitting beside me on the bench.
"Stalin I'm sorry I have to put you through this," Lenin says sincerely.
Suddenly I feel bad for how petty I'm being.
"Look, Len, I'm sorry I've been acting quite childishly, it's just...it's hard seeing you with someone else. Especially when she's all affectionate with you." I cringe when I say "affectionate".
"I know, I understand. But just know I'm doing this all for you. For us." He says and I know he means it.
"I know," I say reassuringly, wrapping an arm around his small frame and pulling him in closer.
I kiss the top of his head and rest my head there.
"I think the revolution will be soon." Lenin thinks aloud.
"You always say that," I chuckle.
"No I mean it this time. I mean soon."
"How soon?"
"Well with all the strikes and the war, I can feel tensions rising, you know."
I nod my head in agreement. I do agree. The pot is boiling, and it must explode at some point right?
"What do you think will happen? With the revolution, I mean."
He considers this for a second.
"I think the that weak ass motherfucker will surrender to us."
"The Tsar?"
"Yes if you want to call him that. He's getting more pathetic as each day goes by."
"What a goofball, and he's ignoring all the unrest thats going on here. Too busy pretending to be helping with the war effort."
This wins a little laugh from Lenin.
Then his face becomes more serious, more determined.
"But Stalin, promise me one thing."
"Yes?"
"When the revolution finally comes about...me and you are going to be at the front of it."
"The ringleaders?"
"Exactly."

Lenin's POV:
Once we get back home Stalin moans that he's tired and so he's says goodnight and heads off to the bedroom.
I don't feel the slightest bit tired, especially after talks of the revolution.
So I decide to put this energy to good use.
I grab a large piece of plain paper and begin to mind map ideas about the revolution.
A lot of people in the party are keen on the idea of a bourgeoisie revolution before the proletariat.
I think that is bullshit.
To be completely honest with you.
We must take the leap.
That's what I write in big bold letters on my mind map.
TAKE THE LEAP!
I can feel the excitement rising within me.
It's going to happen.
