CHAPTER - 26

Navaniya pov:

I reached my room few hours before and now i was laying on my bed thinking about everything that happened today, but the thing is that i cant believe he could be this romantic, like really. How could i not end up seeing the cute pookie side inside him. God... He was, no he is so freaking romantic. But what bhaiya did wasnt right... Like what does he mean by we both can't hang out after 12. Its not like we would be something like that before marriage, right? No no no navu dont think about such things right now... Should i text him.. should i not?... takes my phone to text him. 

"WHAT!!!" How come its already 2am... I swear i just came here few hours before at 10... Fuck.. Did he literally conquered my mind that i couldnt even sleep. O God am i going towards my destruction or what.. Whatever i should try sleeping tomorrow i have to go for work as well..


NEXT DAY 

I woke up at 7am and started doing my morning routine... After stepping out of the washroom  i started getting ready to go for work.. I tugged on my favorite charcoal grey pants. They weren't trendy, it was just... right. High-waisted, a little flowy at the ankle, and they hugged my waist like they were made just for me. I did my  tiny spin in front  the mirror. Yep. Elegant, comfy, but like, in the kind way. 

Finally when i got ready and was ready to set out of the house it was already 9am, which means that I'm almost late and also means is should rush my things up. So, i quickly grabbed my car keys that my recently brought me from his collection, my laptop, my phone and an apple for my breakfast along with my house keys, I rushed out  of my house. 

Dashing through the busy roads of Delhi i finally reached my office. As i entered i saw my brother also reaching, that only means he was late as well.. And the office policy is that employees should arrive before the CEO or else they are considered late. So i rushed out of my car and started to dash towards the office door he saw this and running as well. But thankfully, like really really thankfully i stepped in before him, as i walked before him i simply flipped my hair back and smirked at him walking towards the reception. "Heyy, Navaniya.. " she sees Madhav and continues " I guess you are late" i simply smiled her "The office policy states the one entering after the CEO is considered late. But i entered before you, didn't i Mr. Menon?" i said the last part looking chetta with a smug look for which he just replied with a eye roll. i  then simply signed into the office system following which chetta also signed in.

 "Miss Navaniya, come to my office. Now" chetta glared into me and said then walked away making me stand there. Since my 'boss' ordered i would have to go to his office having no option i followed him into his office.

"You got ready today like this.. What's the reason" he said eyeing me top to bottom "simply-" "don't you dare give that excuse.. You dressed up today because you knew Adithya was coming today right?" he said freaking interrupting but the thing i he said adithya ji is coming today "Wait seriously? He is coming? Good thing i dressed up today. So when would he come?" i said looking excited. "In 2 hours" my brother replied not much excited as i was. "So why are you guys meeting up?" "Obviously for company stuff" "What is the company stuff?" i said getting annoyed "About the financial stuff" "Financial? I am the finance i can be there right?"  i asked him giving my cutest eyes and face i could ever do "Dont do that. You are already so ugly, making that face makes you more ugly. As for you coming and not coming, Prem would be there as the representative of the finance department, we need no one else." He said with a disgusted face "But please. Like please. Wait how about i do your dirty laundry for one week?" "No" "Cook you meals three times a day and do all the dishes"  "Hmm.. Interesting... But no" "What do you even want" "Do that all for me for 1 month, Deal?" he said with that annoying smirk of his "I hate you.. Deal" "Come along with Prem then. But now get out of my office." "Yeh.. whatever" saying that i left his office and went to Prem's office.

Knocks on his door "May i come in sir?" i asked softly "Come in" came his deep voice. I slowly opened the door to see that he hasn't even looked up "Sir, if you don't look up how would you know if im a staff or thief, huh?" i asked taking a sitting down in front for which he chuckled and looked up "Its nothing and Navaniya just call e Prem. You know i don't like when people call me Sir or something. So what's up? " he said with that charming smile of his seeing which i always wonder how many girls would have gone mad on him already "So the meeting with Adithya sir... bhai- i meant Menon sir i could join that as well, so i would also come alongside you." i said with a slight smile "Navaniya are you being serious? Between them? Do you know i wish i dont havve to be in a meeting with them. They don't even tolerate the slightest mistake, if they find it, the person is fired on spot. And they are not good people to be with. They are not humans, they are animals no devils in the human form." He said his playful voice getting serious filled with concern for me "Its fine.. Its a experience you know.." I said with a slight smile "Then i will go get ready for the meeting.. See you during that meeting." Saying that i left the room and went to my desk and started my preparation for the meeting.

After a while when it was finished with my preparation for the meeting it was already time for the meeting. So i got up and went up to the ladies washroom and started doing all the touch ups i had to do so that  i could all pretty.  As I left the washroom, i saw Prem going towards the meeting so i quickly followed him in. "Hyy" whispers to Prem "Hyy, be careful, oky?" he said his voice still covered inn concern "Yeh yeh"  saying that i took my seat.

That's when he walked into the meeting room, all CEO-mode on the outside, but inside? A total mess. First time seeing each other since I became his. He spots me at the table, while i was trying so hard to act normal, but that tiny smile that i couldn't control gave me away. I twirled my pen like nothing happened, but i still kept sneaking glances. So did he.

He sat down across from her, kicked her foot under the table (lightly, ofc), and mouthed, "Hyy, Navu" he said and gave me unnoticed smile. I simply rolled my eyes, but i ended up blushing like crazy, and kicked him back. Seeing this my brother cleared his throat warning and gave his that one look which was enough to make him and me sit properly, not like the entire time, but only for a while.

I know im writing after a very long time.. Maaf krdho...  I will try to update more from now..
