It's Not Just a Joke.

Scott and Mitch have always teased fans by nearly kissing on camera, acting all couplely and of course the occasional flirt. Alex, Scott's boyfriend, was getting tired of all this pretend flirting. He had read a lot of fan fictions of the boys and most of them were Alex being dumped, villianized or just a friend. The boys would usually say it's just a joke but Alex could read them like a book for a 3 year old!

He knew that either Mitch liked Scott or Scott liked Mitch (he was always hoping it was the first one!) He decided he would "help" them on their next QnA. Scott read the last question out loud: "can you say 'bubble' in your angriest voice?" Mitch and Scott both answered the question in hysterics. For the outro they decided they would pretend to make out and look at the camera in guilt. Alex didn't like this one bit.

He stormed out of the apartment and tried to calm down but he couldn't. He knew all the shippers will have more ideas for fan fictions which meant he was going to have to read him being a bitch over and over again.He finally decided to do something about it. He pushed his way through the door and before anyone could say anything he yelled out "LISTEN! ONE OF YOU CLEARLY LIKE THE OTHER SO JUST ADMIT IT!" He looked at Mitch waiting for an answer, but it was Scott who sighed.

Alex looked at his blond boyfriend hoping he wasn't going to say anything about having feelings for Mitch, until Mitch spoke up...

"Look Alex, there is nothing going on between me and Scott! He's all yours! What we do on camera is just a tease for the fans... It's a joke! Scott and I have been vest friend since forever and we will be nothing more!" Alex could see the lies in Mitch's eyes. Mitch clearly wanted Scott.

Alex finally snapped at Mitch. "YOU'RE A FUCKING JOKE MITCH! I WISH YOU AND SCOTT HAD NEVER MET EACH OTHER!" Scott looked at Alex in disgust. However, Mitch snapped back... And hard with brutal honesty...

"EXCUSE ME?! YOU WOULDN'T EVEN KNOW SCOTT WAS FUCKING ALIVE IF IT WASN'T FOR THE SING OFF! BECAUSE OF ME, SCOTT MANAGED TO FULFILL HIS DREAM THAT HE'S ALWAYS WANTED! GRANTED IT TOOK FOUR OF US TO HELP HIM BUT HE EVEN SAID IN THE QNA HE WOULDN'T BE AS SUCCESSFUL WITHOUT ME! SO SHOVE THAT IN YOUR PIPE AND SMOKE IT BIG BOY!"

Alex couldn't take it anymore. Scott wasn't saying anything which meant he must have thought it was true. Alex stormed out and shouted across the room before leaving "HAVE FUN BITCHES! YOU DESERVE EACH OTHER YOU UNGRATEFUL SCUMBAGS! LOOKS LIKE ALL THE FUCKING FLIRTING HAD PAID OFF AYE?!" And with that, he slammed the door.

Mitch shouted back enough for Alex to hear "IT'S A FUCKING JOKE!" He was about to open his mouth to shout something else but saw Scott was crying.

"Oh my goodness! Scott honey I'm so sorry babe! At least you dont have to worry about him being over protective and too jealous now aye?" That forced a giggle outif Scott aand Mitch smiled, only to find Scott bursting out into tears. Scott finally spoke after not saying a word since the incident between Alex and Mitch.

"Do you really mean that?" Mitch responded with "yes of course" "no, not the thing about not having to wory about Alex anymore, the thing about... You know... Joking..." "Well we were only teasing our fans right?" That's when it hit Mitch. Scott did like him. Actually know, he didn't even like him...

He was in love with him.

"Mitch, to me, all the flirting meant something, all the names I called you I've wanted to call you as if we actually meant it, all the pretend almost kisses we did on camera? That's a whole new story to itself! You have no idea how excited I got when I leaned in even closer and when you break it off as just a 'tease to our fans' I almost break down but I keep reminding myself I have to be strong."

Mitch was then dreading what his next words were gonna be...

"Mitch, to me, it's not just a joke."

Mitch couldn't help but break into tears as he finally heard what he wanted to hear his whole life. "Scott, just say it! Say the 3 words I've wanted to hear you say to me for a long time!" Scott looked up from his hands up to Mitch and smiled. "Mitch... I love you." "I love you too Scott." They both grin the cheesiest grin that stretched all the way out to their ears. Scott then grabbed Mitch's waist and brought him closer.

Mitch wrapped his arms around Scott's neck and they both lean in until their lips were not even an inch apart. Mitch gulped as this was finally happnlening, but Scott wasted no time. He connected their lips, feeling the sparks everywhere around them as they passionately danced their lips in rhythm. After about a minute they both pull away from the kiss, feeling each other's smiles as they did.

"So... What now?" Mitch asked. Scott rubbed the back of his head nervously before pouring out the word Mitch wanted. "Boyfriends?" Mitch grinned and nodded as he jumped on to Scott excitedly and pushed him back on to the bed.

Scomiche was now official.
