Christmas Invasion: Disappointment and Truth

After the Doctor said an intense speech thing warning the rest of the Sycorax against 'scavenging' on Earth we were all teleported back down to Earth.

"Where are we?" Rose asked, looking around the streets.

Mickey looked up and down the street, inspecting the area. "We're just off Bloxom Road. We're just round the corner, we did it! "

They both laughed in joy but the Doctor shushed them. "Wait a minute, wait a minute." A wide grin spread across his face as the spaceship fled, flying out of the atmosphere.

Mickey let out a loud laugh "Go on, my son! Oh, yeah!"

Rose jumped on his back excitedly "Yeah! Don't come back!"

"It is defended!" Mickey let Rose down to pull her into a hug, then Rose turned to the translator guy hugging him too.

Well at least she was in a better mood now.

I turned to see the Doctor staring at me, when he realized that I had noticed he opened his mouth to speak but was interrupted by Harriet Jones speaking to him.

I blushed slightly turning to hug Rose and Mickey in joy, letting the Prime Minister and the Doctor speak.

"Rose!" A faint voice that sounded like Jackie.

We all turned to see Jackie running down the street towards us "Mum! Rose called out running up to her.

"Oh, talking of trouble." The Doctor mumbled causing me to give him a nudge in the ribs.

"Oh, my God! You did it, Rose! Oh!"

Rose grinned over at the Doctor "You did it too! It was the tea. Fixed his head."

The Doctor shoved his hands into the pockets of the dressing gown nodding. "That was all I needed, cup of tea!"

Jackie gave Rose a pointed look "I said so."

Rose just rolled her eyes before pointing at the Doctor grinning "Look at him."

"Is it him, though? Is it really the Doctor? - Oh, my God, it's the bleeding Prime Minister!" Jackie exclaimed, stopping herself mid-sentence.

The Doctor rolled his eyes at their antics before pulling us all into a group hug.

Once we all pulled away Jackie turned to the Doctor. "Are you better?"

The Doctor nodded "I am, yeah."

Jackie then moved to talk to Rose "You left me." Oh dear here we go.

I felt a slight tap on my shoulder, turning to see the Doctor grinning at me with his arms open for a hug.

I smiled back leaning into him "I'm glad you're okay." I mumbled into his pj's

He leaned back, grabbing my shoulders "How are you feeling? Have the headaches gone away?"

How did he know about the headaches? "Wha-" I was cut off by five green beams streaking up into the sky to meet and fire out into space, hitting the Sycorax ship with a loud "KaBOOM!"

"What the hell was that?" I spluttered.

The Doctor turned to Harriet Jones, a look of disgust and anger clouded his features "That was murder."

Harriet gave him a defiant look "That was defence. It's adapted from alien technology. A ship that fell to Earth ten years ago."

The Doctor gave her an incredulous look "But they were leaving!"
