Frank's POV:
(Ten years ago)
Being the only boy in the house isn't exactly fun. It can be sometimes, when your sisters are cool and hang out.
But right now I have two children jumping on my face.
"Ok I'm up Bandit! I'm up Helena! Stop!" I yelled playfully.
Bandit stops immediately but it takes Helena a few seconds.
She is the youngest, so usually we spoil her. She gets away with a lot more than anyone else, but mom isn't particularly fond of her. None of us really, but according to her Helena was "a crazy accident." And "at least the first two were planned."
"What do you want for breakfast guys?" I ask, making it my personal duty to make breakfast.
Mom is probably sleeping in so it doesn't even matter.
"Can we have pizza roles?" Helena asked.
After thinking, I shrugged and walked down the stairs, yanking the pizza roles out of the freezer.
"Helena why did you even want pizza for breakfast?" Bandit asks, probably trying to fill the silence.
"I like pizza. Why does food only have to be for a certain part of the day? Let food be when it wants to be." Helena ranted.
If only people were as passionate with gender and sexuality and world problems then Helena was with pizza.
"Is everyone dressed?" I looked at the table to see bandit in a red shirt and black jeans and Helena in one of my old nirvana shirts and a pair of shorts. The shirt looked almost like a dress on her, definitely oversized but in a cute way.
I glanced at the clock to see that the time was 6:45, and school starts at seven. We had to leave now.
"Ok guys!" I yelled, clapping my hands. "Let's go! Grab your bags, your lunch, and your homework!"
Each child grabbed the necessary school supplies while I grabbed mine, tossing it into the black abyss called my back back.
Why don't I clean it?
Eh, too time consuming.
Helena was only six, she was in first grade. I was in eighth grade and Bandit was in fourth.
We walked Helena to her class, then bandit to hers, and I walked to mine.
It was our schedule.
Wake up, eat, walk to school, walk to class, meet up during lunch, meet at the gate at the end of the day, walk home, rest, eat, sleep.
Easy enough.
Right?
Ha, no.

(Lunch time)
I sat on the blue bench connected to the white and black specked table, waiting for my two sister.
The first day of school was always hectic, so I assumed they would be awhile, trying to rush through the hordes of children fighting to be the first in line for lunch, snack, anything.
Luckily I had them bring their lunch, so they would get here faster.
I watched the door for any sign of them, and after seeing three blonde girls, a brunette boy, and a purple-haired boy, I saw Bandit and Helena walk in, holding hands to keep from being separated.
A sigh of relief escaped my mouth and I filled my lungs with air. I didn't even know I hadn't been breathing.
They sat down, across from me and next to each other.
"So, Bandit. How was today?" I asked.
She shrugged and silently ate.
"Helena?" I asked. She frowned and took a small bite of cold take out pizza we ordered yesterday.
The rest of lunch was silent, aside from the hundreds of screaming children around us, and the stares from people who have never eaten alone in their life.
The worst part is next year, I'm going r to high schools an only Helena and Bandit will have each other to sit with.
