Chapter 8

(Shyanne's P.O.V)
One month later.
I walked into school with Lexi's clinging arms together with smiles on our faces. Tonight Xaviers and Cameron's last football games is tonight. I saw Xavier and Cameron walk up to us as I embraced Xavier with a hug. He pulled me into a kiss as we walked away leaving Lexi and Cameron to catch up. "I want you to wear this tonight baby" he said handing me one of his jerseys. I nodded taking it from him. I.heard one of his friends call him as we walked. "I'll catch you later" he said kissing me one last time before walking away.

The hours went by fast and I haven't really been talking to Xavier that much. Today was a good day though probably because it's Friday and we only have two more weeks until graduation. I got a scholarship and I'm excited. I looked at myself in the mirror as I pulled on the jersey Xavier gave me to wear. 21 is his number. I had Jean shorts on along with my vans. I was recently cheering with Lexi yelling Xaviers and Cameron's names. Xavier keeps on making touch downs along with Cameron. It's 30 to 10. "And Xavier makes the Score! I turned to see Lexi with Cameron as she kissed him making me wanna throw up. "Hey have you guys seen Xavier?" I asked. They both shook their head making me curious. The whole drive home I cried. My heart was broken thinking of Xavier kissing Alexis. I can't believe that this happened. Why did I let him pull me into something that now I feel stuck in? Once I got home I slammed my car door shut walking inside. Once I was in my room I shut my door pulling off his jersey. I felt myself vibrate as I pulled my phone out to read Xavier. I threw my phone across the room not caring if he broke.

I stripped down out of my clothes making my way to the shower turning it on. I soon got in feeling the heated water fall on my body. I leaned against my shower as tears poured out my eyes. All I can think of is him. The way he makes me feel when he kisses me. Or his smile. "Shyanne" I heard a faint voice say behind the bathroom door. My eyes widened when I saw Xavier walk in and shut the door. How did he get in? "Your dad let me in Shyanne just let me explain" he said walking towards the shower.

"No Xavier. You hurt me. You did the unexpected. You kissed Alexis" I said covering myself with the curtain. "She kissed me I swear. Please believe me. I didn't know she would do that.
