Rei laid there gripping the blanket with both hands. It felt like something pinched his neck. He instantly felt warm fluid running down the side of his neck staining the covers and his clothes. The vampire sat up refusing to get off as he looked deeply into Rei's eyes. The upperclassman looked clear as day. His eyes burned the brightest crimson red. Rei's eyes faded in and out from bright red to dim red. Then suddenly sleep crawled over him, his eyelids becoming heavier. Soon it was impossible to keep them open a squint. "Goodnight my princess." Said the strange boy and got off Rei.
When Rei awoke it was now past dinner time.
He switched his gaze to the alarm clock near his bed. The time read 10:09pm. He slowly sat up in bed and looked around. The stranger was not there. He swung his legs over his bed and walked to the bathroom. It was late but he still needed to shower.
He let the warm water just run down his pale skin body. He still couldn't shake off the sleepiness from his eyes. He put his hand to his neck to feel the still ever present fang marks.
"I'll ask him who he is tomorrow...I'm tired of not knowing..." He said to himself and shut off the water.
The next morning walking down the sidewalk to school. Alone since his best friend had club activities. He caught a glimpse of the vampire. He fastened his pace and quickly found a way to approach him.
He lightly tapped him on the shoulder. The upperclassman turned around keeping a cold gaze. He remained silent while he passed Rei a small piece of paper and walked away.
Rei opened the paper as he walked to his classroom which had a date and place. 'West side park at 4pm'
