I rolled out of bed and headed for the landing. I walked towards the bathroom and tried to open the door. Locked.
Two of the 5 bedrooms in the house had ensuite bathrooms, and there was another bathroom at the top of the stairs. We'd all done 'rock paper scissors' when we moved in to decide who got the bigger bedrooms with personal bathrooms. Rian and Zack won, leaving me and Alex to share the other bathroom.
"Alex, stop wanking and get your ass out of that shower!" I screamed through the door, "I have to pee!"
"What the fuck!" A feminine voice shouted back, "I'm not Alex!"
Shit. It was Liv. I'd completely forgotten about her.
"Sorry Liv! I'll go use another bathroom!" I felt so embarrassed.
"No, I'll be right out." I heard the water turn of and a few seconds later the door unlocked and Olivia emerged. She had on a hugely oversized Pierce The Veil t-shirt, so much so that it looked like a dress, and her hair was wrapped up in a towel.
"I hope you don't mind me leaving my shampoo and stuff in there, Jack. Oh and I found this towel in that cupboard down the hall." She pointed to the closet next to my room.
"That's fine." I nodded and walked past her into the bathroom.

"Tour time!" I screamed from the kitchen. I walked into the lounge with Rian where Olivia, Alex and Zack were sat taking it in turns playing The Last Of Us. Zack paused the game as we came in.
"Dude, she's already seen most of the house." Alex stated.
"Yeah, but she doesn't know where any of our bedrooms are. What if there's like an apocalypse and she can find us!?" Liv laughed my comment.
"Fine, lets do this Jackypoo!" She laughed and winked at me, "You guys coming?" She looked at Alex and Zack as she stood up.
"Nah, kiddo. We'll stay and finish this chapter." Zack spoke for the two of them.
"Alrighty, let's do this." She smiled as I pulled her arm.
Me and Rian took her to the front door and stood facing into the house.
"Okay so, to the right the lounge and to the left is the kitchen. Did you see that door in the corner of the kitchen?" I asked and Olivia nodded, "Well that goes into the dining room, which we only really use on holidays. We mostly eat by the TV or at the breakfast bar in the kitchen."
Liv nodded, taking it all in.
Rian joined in, "The double doors at the far end of the lounge lead out into the garden. That door next to the kitchen is a closet. Upstairs?" We both nodded.
We walked straight ahead up the stairs and stopped at the top.
I carried on, pointing to doors in turn from right to left, "Okay so that's another closet, my room, Alex's room, the bathroom, your room, Zack's room and Rian's room. And through that door to the far left is the stairs to the attic. C'mon, we'll show you."
We lead her to the door and then up the stairs. The stairs took you straight up into the attic which, for us, was a practice space.
"Woah." Olivia's eyes were wide and she had a huge smile on her face. The room was sound-proofed and contained a drum kit, 2 bass guitars, 3 acoustic guitars, 5 electric, microphones and a few small percussion instruments. At the far end was two desks with computers and recording equipment so that we could mess around with tracks without trekking to the studio.
We took Olivia back downstairs and stopped when we got to Rian's room, the largest in the house with an ensuite bathroom.
"So, Liv, we were thinking..." Rian started, "That me and you should swap rooms. My room is much bigger, the closet is walk-in which I definitely don't need- plus there's a private bathroom which I thought would be better since you're a girl. Plus Jack and Alex are gross so their bathroom is too!" Olivia giggled.
"Fuck you, Ri." I pouted.
"No, that's your room. I'm fine with the one I'm in." She smiled at her dad.
"No arguing- you're getting the room. End of." Rian actually said it like a father would. This was creepy as fuck.
"Fine, but I'll need help with my things!" She skipped off to her room and we quickly followed.
"Hey Ri?" I nudged my friend.
"Sup?"
"You've got a fucking kid dude! How're you holding up?!" We stopped in the hall.
"Better than she is, I suppose. I'm still pissed that she's changed her name though. I chose Riley for her." He looked really upset.
"Hey, hey, it's okay! She's still kept it as her middle name! That's something, right? Talk to her about it, Rian." I shrugged.
"Nah. It's her life, her name, her choice. Now, let's help her move rooms!" He smiled a little and we carried on down the hall to Liv's room.
