Erika's POV

"Milady, time for lunch." Sebastian knocks on the library door, and enters. My face is glued to the fairy tale that father would ready to me when I was young.

"In a minute, Sebastian. I'm reading." I dismiss him quietly, not looking up to face him.

"Indeed, Milady. I'll return in a short while to come get you."

"Whatever." I spoke a mere whisper so he couldn't hear me. A sheet of lightning flashes; it's soon followed by a deafening clap of thunder. I suddenly drop my book and curl up into a ball; my ears are covered, but it feels like the thunder is inside my head. My body begins to shake uncontrollably.

"Milady?" Sebastian knocks on the door once more after five minutes of horrifying thunder and lightning. "Milady?" Sebastian calls again for me.

"Se-Sebastian!" I scream his name. He came running to find me in a corner. I try my best not to start crying, but the tears stain my white skin. "Please...h-help me, Se-Sebastian!" I plead at him, my voice shaking and raspy.

"Yes, Milady." Sebastian picks me up and carries me to my room. He hands me a pair of ear plugs, I stick them in my ears. A flash of lightning illuminates the room; a clap of thunder roars; I screamed in pain. The thunder felt like it was inside my head, ready to break out of skull.

"Sebastian! Father!" My father bursts through my bed room door.

"What's wrong with her?!" He sits on my bed holding me, trying to calm me down.

"That's a mystery to me, Master. I found her in the Library; huddled in a corner, covering her ears." Sebastian explained everything that's happened. Rain pelted the balcony doors with great force; seemed like someone was banging on it, trying to enter. The wind hollowed as Lightning flashed and thunder hit the ground; shaking the mansion. The shaking didn't stop.

Suddenly a huge crack split the house in half; my father jumped to one half, leaving me on my bed hopeless; Sebastian stood next to him with a grin plastered on his face. Father started to laugh a low laugh, and soon became maniacal, and insane.

"Father? What are you doing?" I called to him. My tears blurred my vision. My ears felt like they were bleeding. Thunder continued to rumble in my head. The crack grew immensely and it was impossible to jump over. The half I was on started to crumble and fall.

"If you weren't born, then I wouldn't have to be reminded every day of my dead bride! Having a stubborn daughter is the thing that I didn't want!" Ciel yelled at me; I could barely hear him. Hail falls and beats against my small body. I could see outside at the monstrous storm rolling in. The dark ominous clouds flew across the sky with great speed. The house crumbles, and I fall into a deep sea of black water. My entire body is engulfed in the pitch black ocean. Sinking deeper and deeper; the pressure grows heavier and heavier. I felt like I was going to imploding on myself. Nothing would be left. My soul and body would be eradicated from this world. A strange light flooded into my eyes, I try to move, but my body felt like concrete; it was heavy and I was weak.

"Please, someone save me!" I scream into the nothingness of the dark sea. The light soon disappears, and returns to the darkness. I gave up on trying to survive. But suddenly, I feel someone pulling me out of my despair, heading towards the surface. Once out of the black ocean, I lean against my savior; I'm so tired. The pain in my head had stopped. The rain no longer fell like my tears, and the hail was reduced to a light snow. I start to shiver from the cold.

"It's ok, we'll arrive to a warm place shortly." My savior's voice was deep, and raspy; but was gentle and warm. I lay in his arms; grasping at the little warmth that spilled out of his body. My long red hair dragged across the ground. The man stood at a great height, but the ends of my hair still fell behind us.   "You have such beautiful long hair." He stopped and grabbed my hair; without dropping me, he skillfully tucked my hair underneath my fragile body. We reached a small house at the edge of the city; the house was just big enough to hold a small four member family. My savior lays me on a bed, starts a fire, and places a wool blanket over my frozen body. "You're safe here. They won't harm you now." He said as he went and poked the flames; adding more wood.
