"ARRRRGGGGGHH!"

I let out a frustrated scream as I stood in front of my closet doors.

I. Had. Nothing. To. Wear.

Okay, maybe I overreacted, but big deal. When it comes to the man of your dreams, how can you not?

I hear a rumbling in Kasey's room, but I dismissed it and I began tearing through my clothes again.

Unsuccessful, I launched myself onto my bed, face down on clothes that just weren't good enough for today.

Knock Knock. "Cait?"

I looked over at my closed door wondering why Kasey didn't just barge in like she usually does. As if she was reading my mind, my door seeing open, revealing my best friend in all her glory.

She carefully made her way to my bed from the door and pulled me out of bed.

"Follow me, bitch. I have a surprise for you!" She sounded so genuinely pleased with herself that I had to comply and find out what it was.

We stopped in front of her door and she pulled a sparkly, black eye mask that said Princess on one side and was smooth black silk on the other.

I groaned.

"No peeking," she insisted and handed me the eye mask.

I groaned again, louder this time, as I put it on. Kasey grabbed my hand and opened the door to her room. Even without being able to see anything, I knew that I was sitting in front if her vanity and all her makeup was probably sprawled out in front of us.

"If you're going to do my makeup, don't you kind of need my face?"

Just then the eye mask disappears and Kasey's face was right in front of mine. "Yes, I was getting to that, as you see. I just didn't want you to peek at your surprise that's sitting on my bed." I was almost sure she had underestimated me, what with all the mirrors she had in her room, and the one that was directly in front of me. But when her face was no longer the only thing I could see, I realized that the mirror was cloaked in a bed sheet. "Do you really think so little of me? All the mirrors are covered. So you can't see what you look like until I'm done with you."

I laughed. "So I guess I'm your Barbie doll until Niall calls."

"Speaking of him, give me your phone. When he calls, I will be the one to answer. You know why? Because you're not going to freak out on me again."

I respected her logic and handed over my phone. There's no use arguing with her when she's determined.

"Okay, I'm ready," I said, closing my eyes and leaning back in the chair, preparing myself mentally for what was going to come.

~~~~~~
"Cuz I'm just a teeeenage dirtbag babyyyy..."
I was jolted out of my trance when I heard the familiar Wheatus song playing from my phone where it say on Kasey's vanity. She was half-done curling my hair.
My breath suck in my throat. "Kasey...."
"Hands!" She demanded, and I obliged willingly. My hands were filled with hair and a curling iron, leaving her hands free to retrieve and answer my phone.
"Hello? ... Niall? ... Hi! ... No no, this is her best friend, Kasey. ... Yes, she's right here ... No you can't talk to her ... excuse me a second, Niall." She put her hand on the speaker and looked at me. "I'll be right back, I'm just going to give him directions." I was struggling to get out a simple "okay" when she put the phone down and took my face in her hands and whispered to me. "Cait, don't worry, He sounds really excited to see you, okay?" I nodded. "Okay, I'll be right back." She picked up the phone again. "Niall? Yes, now, where are you coming from? ... Okay well you're going to want to take a right on-" she continued talking as she walked out of the room, closing the door behind her.
