It was a warm afternoon, where butterflies roamed those green fields and bees kissed the pollen of each flower.

The royal carriage was waiting outside the small house, where they all gathered to say their goodbyes.

Larica, Luna and Ida had to head back to the palace with Hawk and Venator.

Hugging the mother who welcomed them home and the sisters who have become theirs too.

"We will come see you"

Mary smiled saying while looking into Ida's eyes.

"And I am looking forward to it"

Adelia smiled back while giving her a final hug.

Venator stepped outside followed by the girls.

"Are you sure you want to stay?"

Hawk asked Gilda one last time.

"You worry too much, we will be fine and I love living here"

She proudly said.

"And you, don't forget about us"

Gilda then added.

"Like I could ever"

He smiled replying.

Before the two of them went outside where the three girls were already inside the carriage and Venator was on the front.

Mary and Alma waving them goodbye even though it was not moving yet.

When Hawk gave him the signal, the carriage started moving away slow and steady, on its way to leave the field.

"Let's go"

He said while walking towards Silas who was very excited to go back home.

Once he made sure she was ready to go, he said another goodbye followed with a wave.

"Silas, let's follow them"

Hawk said while Silas started moving forward as fast as she could, it caught him off guard.

"Slow down a little!"

He smiled shouting, yet with the wind hitting her wide open eyes and the longing she felt not only towards Elmer but to run full speed, she could not listen.

And so he gave up and let her be, hoping she does not lose her energy before they manage to get back to the palace.

Far away from everything warm, there was a land where the sun's touch could not melt the snow that covered their space.

All of the villagers gathered together to attend the funeral of one of their own the body was put inside the grave it belongs to and his own father helped sealing it up.

As the hours went by, everyone returned to their work, home and life.

Ivor's death was not the end of theirs, some of them would think of him till the rest of their day, others might remember him till they follow as well, but none of them could feel the three people still standing by his grave.

Not too far from the royal carriage,  prince Louis stood watching them from a short distance.

He did not want to draw any unnecessary attention to himself while it was  Ivor's funeral, and so he was finally able to make his way through, leaving the guards by the carriage.

Stepping into the snowy ground lightly and leaving his footprints behind, making a faint sound that was loud enough to make the family members feel his presence.

Marc turned around and his eyes met an unfamiliar face.

"You have my deepest condolences. I am truly sorry for your loss"

Louis's pained voice said as he saw the top on the grave turning white from the cold snow, slowly covering Ivor's name.

Ezra walked closer towards the prince and patted his shoulder replying,

"Thank you, Louis"

The prince stepped towards the grave and kneeled down.

He pulled his royal sword out and gently pressed the sword's tip into the snowy earth at the grave's edge.

'I pray you find peace'

Louis to himself before standing up.

Marc kept looking back at Ezra, trying to get him to introduce Louis but since his son was very out of it and could not notice, he had to put his thoughts into words.

"Is Louis one of your trainees?"

Marc asked.

His words brought Ezra back to reality.

"Yes, this is prince Louis"

The answer was quite shocking to the parents. And slightly confusing for a prince and a trainee to be the same person.

Louis extended his hand for a handshake and Marc found himself going in for the handshake.

The prince then offered his hand to Eliz, looking at her bright pretty eyes, he could not tell that she was not able to see him and has to wait patiently for a while before Marc talked to his lovely wife.

"The prince wants to shake your hand, love"

Marc said while gently touching her waist.

"Oh dear, am sorry!"

She said while struggling to find his hand but eventually he held hers and could not tell if she was so warm or if he was ice cold.

"Ivor was very kind to me and my little brother, we learned a lot from him and-"

Before he got to finish, she could feel his trembling hands. The rest of the words would not come out of his throat, they were stuck.

"Thank you dear, would you like to come in for a hot drink your hands are freezing"

Eliz suggested.

And upon her words, the three men followed her back to the house, while Louis asked the guards to get inside the carriage and wait.

The sunset was turning into a beautiful shade of purple and Elmer could barely take a second off to admire it since he was drown in his own work and pressure.

He was thankful that everything have been under control since he took over but he needed to stay prepared and wary in case anyone of Leo's supporters would try to take revenge.

While lost in his thoughts, someone knocked on his door before a guard walked in.

"Your majesty, A carriage from Lord Morris's mansion has just arrived to the palace and princess Elina requested to see you"

The guard said.

"Please, let her in"

Elmer smiled replying, while watching the guard step outside, allowing the beautiful lady dressed in pink step into the room with a closed door behind her.

Elmer stood up and walked towards her while she was overjoyed to see him.

"Elmer! I can not believe you did it and you're alive"

Elina ran to hug him tightly for a good minute while he let her have her time.

"Did Arthur come with you?"

He asked.

"We haven't met in forever and this is the first thing you say?"

She sighed complaining.

"Elina, am very happy to see you"

Elmer smiled brightly expressing himself.

She felt happier and went ahead with their conversation, while Elmer kept ignoring the pain in his leg that was about to ruin him...
