I emerge from the bright light and land in the middle of a crossroad. I turn my head to view my surroundings and I see nothing but four dirt roads extending from the spot I was in. I can't feel or see the presence of Fergus anymore, which causes me to worry just a bit. I turn my body around 180 degrees to see a little girl standing a few feet away. Just by looking at her face I could tell that she was also a demon like I was. It must be another demon power of mine to be able to tell if someone is a creature or not without the use of holy water.

The girl starts to slowly saunter towards me, her flowy blue dress trying to run in all directions from the wind "Hi there, Kendra." She thrust her bony hand towards me "Welcome to the clan of creatures. I'm Lilith, your new boss and sister. I will be teaching you the basics of your new job as a dealer."    I lightly wrapped my right hand around hers and smiled down at her, slowly shaking her arm up and down "How do you know my name?"    She laughed and pulled her hand away from mine and then placed it in her dress pocket "I'm Lucifer's first daughter. I'm sure you've heard of my- I mean our- daddy. I'm notified whenever I get a new sibling and memorize their names. He also lets me pick who to keep and who to lock up in Hell and I just..." She giggled "Thought that you would make a perfect sister so I told him to keep you. You're pretty, thats all."    I grinned at the sweet compliment and patted her head "Why thank you, Lilith. I'm sure you would be a great sister."    Her tiny pink lips curved up into a wide smile "You're one of the nicest one's, you know that? Most people scream at me or spit. It's very rude and makes me throw a temper tantrum" then her smile faded into a dark, evil frown "And you don't want to see me throw a temper tantrum."     Then her eyes lit up again and she was back to all smiles and giggles "Well now, we should get back to business." She handed me a massive hardcover leather book "This book states all rules, regulations, and tips to being a good deal maker."     Right. I was a deal maker now."Speaking of which, what kinds of deals am I making anyways?" I asked her, brushing a piece of hair out of my face.    A quiet sigh flew out of her mouth, indicating a small speck of impatience but she answered my question anyways "You trade a wish for a soul. Read the book- Page 1,219 section 210- it should tell you the rest."    I nodded, realizing that now I had to read this whole thing word per word if I didn't want to get killed a second time and get sent to a creature version of Heaven- or more like Hell- called Purgatory, which was a place where you got tortured by Alphas and Leviathans. How do I know this you ask? Honestly I have no idea why I know this. I just... did. And I needed to find out why "Lilith, by any chance is there a handbook about being a demon? Right now I am extremely confused about all of this."    She giggled again "No silly. Most demons are required to figure things out on their own- if they learn slowly they get killed by hunters. Demon hunters. They want all of us dead, so watch out for them." She paused for a moment, twirling her blonde hair in her fingers "But... I like you. I don't want you to get captured by a hunter. You're nice and pretty. So I think I'll be the helpful older sister that I am and teach you all about it. I'm sure daddy won't mind."    I gave her a thankful pat on the back and allowed a small smile to appear on my face"I would like that."    Suddenly her eyes widened as if just remembering something important "I'll give you your lessons as soon as possible." She took my hand and tugged in my arm"But first we need to get you a meat suit. Right now all you are is a dark cloud and only I can see your true form. Other demons can only see you when your not in this universe."    I remember Fergus saying something about that. Where was Fergus anyways? I shook the question out of my brain and decided to stick to one question at a time "Could I just have my old body?"     Lilith nodded "Of course you can, as long as it hasn't rotted yet." Then she beamed up at me "And that's a good choice too. I would take yours if I could but I don't think you would like that. Daddy said that owners of the body always get first call."

Then she pulled me towards one of the roads "Okay come on!" She shoved me into some kind of vortex of some sort after waving goodbye and mouthing the words "See you later"  with the brightest grin that you would ever see on a little demon girl locked on her face.
