I wrote this poem back in Nov of 2016. Hope you guys like it.
Silent tears roll down my face like waves crashing on the shore
They come and go as quickly as they appear
Like the stars; some shine brighter while others are dim
I hide my face in the dark so they can't see the pain in my eyes
That never disappears
It is only concealed for another day
To come out when I least expect it
I hear them ask " are you okay?"
But I'm drowning in my own sorrow
I can't reply back
I only stare like I'm looking through glass
The glass of despair
That is filled with unending pain
It just keeps flowing
Smoothly down into the open sea
I go to follow
Only to fall into the dark abyss
Where I relive my pain
Until you came and saved me with your love, strength, and happiness
