My heart is broken
But you can't see it
Not my family or my friends
The words cut deeply inside me
Like a recorder
Playing the same tune
over and over again
My eyes are bright and full mischief
Buts it's just a cover
For the hurt
The words that sit on replay
But that's in the past
And the future is now
Full of friends
New and old
Full of new places to discover
A new hope
A new beginning
To let loose
To have fun
Make mistakes
To learn from them
Then to move on
To find love
To make a new life
To be myself
My weird self
The one I keep hidden in the inside
The one I'm scared to show
But now I let go
And let my true colours flow
