My Lullaby

I walk across the bridge, a huge body of water underneath me. I feel a rumble beneath me, I look down and the bridge falls out from underneath me. I fall into the water, and try as I might, I'm no match for the strong current, it pulls me under the water. I drown.

I sit up in bed, it was all a dream... again.

Ghost is asleep in his bed.

I sit and sing myself a lullaby, that has somewhat to do with me...
The ship it swayed, heave-ho, heave-ho
On the dark and stormy blue

As he pulled up his trews

The sky it flashed, heave-ho, heave-ho
His pillow, dulled the hrink
The curtains ran between my legs
As we began to sink
I closed my eyes heave-ho, heave-ho
As the ship was rent and felled
Eddie's in the water headed, to the mouth of Hell

I stop singing because one I sense I'm being watched and two the song is over

I get up to go to the bathroom.

I open my door and walk down the hall, I see a figure and quickly realize it's Castiel.

"Oh, it's just you..." I say

"Yes, I'm sorry for startling you." He says

"It's alright." I say

His eyes look towards my arm where my scares are, from me cutting, because of the kids bullying me.

"Your arm." He says his expression full of worry

I quickly hide my arm behind my back.

Shit, I'm wearing a tank top my arms aren't covered like they usually are.

"What about my arm?" I ask

"Your arm has scares." Castiel says his voice now has worry in it.

"No it doesn't."

"Elizabeth"

"What?"

"Let me see your arm."

"Why?"

"Please, Elizabeth"

"No!" I say in a tone that means 'go ahead'

Castiel walks over to me, he looks in my eyes until he gently takes my arm. He turns it over to show the scares.

"Elizabeth?" He asks

"Yes?" I ask

"Why would you do this to yourself?"

"I'm sorry" was all I could manage to say before running back into my room.
