A Summer To Remember

Chapter 2

After dinner I googled Carlifonia Summer Beach Camp. It turns out it was a prestigious summer camp it was extremely expensive and only the richest and snobbiest teens got in there, the images were of gorgeous girls clad in skimpy bikinis with their flat toned stomachs and obscenely white teeth. The boys were hot with abs that my little brother Dev would die for.
"Sam!!!!, Mum needs you" as if on cue Dev's annoying voice shouted.
"Dev!!! How may times have I told you not to call me Sam I'm a girl FYI "
"Sam I don't care now get down here!!!" He hollered back.
Boys, grow a few inches, get a deep voice boom! They think their men.
"Devy I'm coming" I said using his hated nickname.
"I hate you Sameera" he shouted.
"The feeling is mutual Devy" I muttered to my self.
I rushed down the stairs to the kitchen to my mum.
"Finally you're here so, tomorrow were going to the spa for a little girl time and then Monday my little baby is going off to summer camp"
"What!!! She's coming too!!! Mum" Dev wailed.
"Mother you can't be serious about bringing Dev along for a teen camp" I said glaring at him.
"Samee its a teen camp last time I checked Dev is 14" she replied
"Yes he's practically still a kid" " I can't leave him home alone either so he's going too, now off to bed kids we've got a long Sunday ahead of us."

On Sunday afternoon my mum and I went to our local mall's deluxe spa, we had mani-pedis and I curled my normally straight brown hair and added hazel highlights making it chic. My suitcase was packed by my mum who for a woman in her late thirties had a killer fashion sense. As for Dev's suitcase well I could care less.
Our flights were booked for 8 am and knowing my brother my mum told him 6:30 am.
Dev decided to cut his brown hair a little and the transformation was amazing, with his height and voice he could easily pass for 17.
By Sunday evening I was dead tired I dropped off to sleep still in my sneakers.
