King

Me Ace Joc and Jarrod been in this cell for 4 hours now. We've been crying on and off especially me. It hit me harder than anyone else. I just wanna get out of here. Right now I felt like verge of tears we're fin come again. Sometimes the boys would come and comfort me cause they know how much Promise means to me.

"Oh my gosh!!" I yelled crying punching the wall. I put my hands in my face covering my eyes as I cried. You just don't know how much pain I'm feeling right now.

"King I know it hurts its ok" Joc said as I cried on his chest.

"Now its not its all my fault" I cried

"Boy not its not you didn't mean for that to happen its the Police fault fo not controlling his gun now wipe yo damn tears" Ace said. I did what he said and stood up straight. "Stop blaming yo self fo what just happened just have faith that she made it and still is alive alright young blood" I nodded my head putting my head down.

"Alright boys yall are bailed out you are free to go" we all got up and went to the front. When we got there my eyes landed straight on Hazel. She looked like she been crying not only cause of Promise but cause of me also. I opened my arms up and she ran into them giving me a tight hug crying.

"Its alright I'm here baby girl" We pulled apart and I wiped her tears.

"Yall alright" Uncle Aug asked. We all nodded our heads going out. "We going to the hospital. They did surgery soon as Promise came to the hospital. She almost didn't make it but she's good now she's still sleep from the surgery"

"Thank you lord. He answered my prayers" I said. We all got in the car driving off. I laid my head on Hazel head during the ride. I looked at her stomach and seen her little baby bump from the shirt she was wearing. "I'm sorry" I mumbled to her

"Huh"

"I'm sorry"

"Its ok"

"No really I am I didn't mean what I said I was just scared and didn't know how to react when you told me you were pregnant I really wanna be in the baby life I really do I just need you to forgive me baby" she looked at me and gave me a kiss. We pulled away and smiled at each other.

"Aye love birds we hea now get yall asses out my damn car" Uncle Aug said. I chuckled getting out and helping Hazel get out too. We went inside going to the front desk of the hospital.

"Promise Brown" I said

"Room 215" I nodded and we all went to the elevator going to the 2nd floor. When we got to Promise hospital room I hesitated to open the door.

"Baby its ok open the door" I turned the door knob and walked in. Everyone turned and looked at me.

"King you alright baby" Mama said walking towards me hugging me.

"Yea" I said as my voice cracked a little. "Mama I can't do it ima break down I just know" I said as tears started falling.

"Its ok I know it hurts" I looked to see Promise sleeping peacefully. It hurted me to see her hook up to Iv's and all. I walked towards her holding her hand.

"Promise I'm sorry that this happened and I don't know if you're hearing me right now but just know that I love you" I said kissing her forehead.

"Sing a song to her King" Mama said. I nodded my head clearing my throat.

"He's saying he's your best friend And he's always the one in your ear I know that he been waiting To get my ass up out of here It's been a couple months now Baby I am not suprised But I'm a real nigga Girl, how you gon take his side" I sang

"I bet if I lick that spot then you won't act like that I miss giving you them backshots, girl you remember that Baby and I'd be damned if I let him take my place Don't listen to what that nigga say" Pops said jumping in.

"Cus he's just saying you could do better And baby all I'm saying is he sound like a hater And baby he could just fuck off and do us a favor Mind your business, nigga stop being a hater" We both sang together.

"Here we go, why these niggas keep hating for Guess that's just the way it goes Uh oh, that's the way it goes, Uh oh, Uh oh Uh oh, that's the way it goes" Precious sang.

"Baby what the hell are you thinking By the way you screamin' at me thinkin' you've been drinking I know that nigga's on your line But he can't get what's mine, yeah Baby you need to show me what the hell I did wrong I need you to hold me, right here in your arms I'm kissing your heart and all your little body parts Baby, baby" Jordan sang

"I bet if I lick that spot then you won't act like that I miss giving you them backshots, girl you remember that Baby and I'd be damned if I let him take my place Don't listen to what that nigga say Cus he's just saying you could do better And baby all I'm saying is he sound like a hater And baby he could just fuck off and do us a favor Mind your business, nigga stop being a hater" all four of us sang together.

"See it's a reason why she still with me And she ain't with you She see the real in me, and the bitch in you Yeah, she friends with you, but she sexing me When she be textin you, she be next to me Showin me how weak you is, it's embarrassing I'm a real nigga so I guess you are a mannequin Bad on the phone but in person you be panicking I ain't even stressed, got a bag full of cannabis I ain't with the bull so this ain't beef You a weenie I bet you be lying on your meat If real recognize real, who the fuck is you She need a principal, not a substitute" Pops rapped

"He's just saying you could do better (no, he can't) Girl stop playing he could never Be the one you need cus you're the one for me girl I know how to please you right He's just saying you could do better Girl stop playing you know he could never Be the one you need cus you're the one for me, yeah But I'm a real nigga" we sang finishing the song.

All of a sudden Promise machine started beeping indicating her heart wasn't pumping and that she was dying.

"No yall not fin take ha away from me" I said breaking down as they kicked us out. I tried going back in but they wouldn't let me. "Let me gooo I'm not fin let her die its not her time" I said crying even more. I gave up and fell on my knees breaking down rocking back and forth. This isn't right it just ain't.
