Jody POV-
Me and the love of my life Yvette finally tied the knot after all these years, all these years of fooling around. I sometimes sit back and laugh at all the dumb shit that I use to put her through. Shit that I didn't even have to do. It's funny cause the same girl that I played around with and broke her, was the same girl who remained loyal to me through thick and thin.
I let Peanut go, but I didn't let my daughter go. Peanut went off to college, and she allowed Saharria to stay with me, Yvette, Jo Jo, and our newest addition; Asia. I'm finally at peace now. I have a beautiful wife, and three beautiful kids that I wouldn't trade for anything in the world. Me and Jo Jo be feeling crowded with all these females in the house. Ha! I never thought I would make it to this point. Mama and Melvin got married, sold the house and moved down to Chicago. But me I couldn't move. This was home for me. Yvette be talking all that shit about having a fresh start and new beginnings. Hell, we can have a fresh start and a new beginning here in LA.
I moved Jo Jo and Yvette out of that old cramped apartment and got us a three bedroom house. Me and Yvette got our room down stairs while Jo Jo got his own room, and the girls share a room. We got a nice sized kitchen, and living room. Two bathrooms, a basement where I use as a music room with all my equipment. And a nice pool in the back yard. We still share a car every now and then. I couldn't let my bike go even if I wanted too.
Me and Sweet pea be kicking it at all the clubs on the weekends. Yvette be bitching about me leaving her at home with the kids. Hell a man need a break every know and then. I just laugh her off and go hang out with the crew. I stopped selling dresses, and finally got a job at a department store selling furniture. It ain't much but at least I'm bringing in money so Yvette can stop all her god damn complaining.
At the end of the day, I'm happy my life. It's all about Yvette, And my kids. I wouldn't trade them for nothing in this whole wide world. Cause when I'm with them I feel like I'm on top of the world.
Yvette POV-
I never thought in all my life that I would be Mrs. Joseph Summers. I thought for sure that Jody was going to continue playing games. I was so happy the day he proposed to me. That was the second happiest day of my life. The first, was giving birth to my eldest Jo Jo. He looks so much like Jody now. I'm even more happier to have Saharria. My baby girl.
And of course my baby girl Asia.
She looks just like me, but has a big head like her daddy Jo Jo.
I started working at a little department store called Jumpers. They sell all types of clothing. Shoes, furniture.
I'm just so happy at all the changes that has been in my life, I couldn't be anymore happier.
