Last Chapter- Chapter 22

-1 week later-

"Crawford..." I grab his arm, taking him to the living room.

"Sweetie, Are you okay?" He asks. The pet name making my heart shrivel.

"No. I have to tell you something.." We sit down.

"Why aren't you sitting in my lap?" He frowns.

"Because I don't think you'll ever want to talk to me again, after this," I take my ring off, handing it to him.

"Crawford. Listen," I see him tear up.

"Did you cheat on me?" He gets up, continuing to look at me.

"Crawf.." Tears stream down my face.

"You fucking cheated on me," he throws his hands up.

"Eliana! We have been together for five fucking years. I gave my virginity to you.. I flew you out here. I wanted you to marry me! I thought you loved me.." He paces the room.

"Crawford. I do love you,"

He ignores my words. "Who was it?"

I don't answer.

"Ellie," he breaks down. Tears going down his face. "Who was it?" His voice cracks.

My face, red and puffy. "It was..." He looks at me to continue. "Chris,"

He gave me a painful look.

"Crawford... I was drunk. Him and I both consumed 2 bottles of Hennessy. I was also sad. You were about to not make it."

"You were almost dead," I put my face in my hands.

"You had sex with my brother. Even because I almost died, doesn't mean you can do that,"

"I love you, but I can't do this, bye Eliana," he goes to my room to pack his stuff up.

This is the day I lost the love of my life. The day I decided everything after this would be impractical.
