Chapter 1: Background check

Lets make introductions I'm Brooke your normal everyday teenager. I used to live in La Crescent, Minnesota then my dad and my step monster decided to movie me to Los Angeles, California. Where everyone turns into stars I don't believe that. Unlike most girls I don't like dresses or anything to do with it since I didn't grow up with a mother figure now I have a step-monster and two like step-monsters their names are Avery and Jake they're the reason I moved here with my dad and older brother Isaiah. My step monster doesn't think I need to stay where my actual friends are because I am very anti-social and my only true friend here will be my dog Moon. My best friends were Abby, Hanna, Travis, and Connor. I'm sad I left them in Minnesota I mean it was always our dreams to come to LA but I didn't want to live the dream on my own. Avery yells in my ear " We're here!!!" I look at her and gave her the dirtiest look and that made her look out her window. I look down at my phone and saw Spencer texted me he was more than my best friends because I knew I'd never lose touch of him. The text said "Hey, you almost living the dream?" I smiled at his corny joke and replied " I'm not going to 'live the dream' here if I don't know anyone" he responded to that with a "Well text me when you are ready" I just said "K" I looked around in the car Isaiah whispered "She's a bitch huh" I nodded lightly chuckling under my breath. Isaiah and I hate her we don't call her mom we call her Callie and we got Jake to say that too it was bad to them but Isaiah and I were laughing. Isaiah didn't want to leave either he wanted to stay with his friends in Minnesota but Callie said he'll make new friends there too I scoffed and that's all you need to know about me either than some personal stuff.
