Kai's POV:

Tonight was their last performance. They had flown to their last city, eager to please the next Australian crowd. Brisbane, like most of the cities they had been to so far in the strange country was on a waterfront, and was as spectacular. Kai had wanted to go on a city cat with Aoi, but the raven had politely declined, saying he had plans with Uruha. In the end Kai went with Ruki, Manabu, Rui, Reita and Mao. The wind tugged on his hair and clothes as they sped down the river, the sleek boats gliding eagerly upon the flat water, leaving a trail of white foam behind them. The drummer let the rushing wind take his worries away, carrying them far into the distance, and burying them in the unknown of this hot land. Aoi was acting distant. But then again, when had the raven ever shown romantic gestures towards him, when they weren't on stage? Never. Aoi and romantic simply didn't mix. The raven was too cool, far too sexy for that. Sweet, yes. But romantic? No. Smooth fingers ran across his knuckles and he raised his eyes to meet the tired gaze of their vocalist. Ruki smiled at him, but said nothing. Kai let his fingers intertwine with the smaller mans, settling his own calloused and hardened ones against the soft plump skin of the others. The blonde gazed out over the river taking in the tropical surroundings.

"Let's go there!" He shouted over the wind, his eyes settling on a small beach like water park.

Nodding Kai led him to gather the others, and they prepared to get off at the dock. They walked for a short distance until they found the water park Ruki had spotted earlier. Giggling Reita picked up Mao and ran through one of the fountains. Kai and Ruki shrieked as they realised they were being drenched from underneath, via the water jets that had erupted out of the ground. Manabu and Rui hesitantly hung around the edge, not wanting to become wet. Kai watched as the beautiful dark haired guitarist clung onto the slightly smaller lighter haired bassist, feeling a small pang of regret flood through him. He wished he had never hooked up with Aoi, because if he hadn't he could of found someone who he could cuddle with, and display affection with. But that was not so, because that was not Aoi. The raven only showed affection when they were alone. But Kai couldn't complain, because he had something the fangirls didn't. He had Aoi. He had the Superstar. He had Yuu Shiroyama. He loved Aoi and the raven loved him. Caught up in his reminiscing he allowed the tiny vocalist to lead him out of the bombardment of water and to a bench where the two ScReW members were sitting.

"They make a cute couple." Ruki murmured as Mao pushed their gangly bassist into one of the small pools.

It was true, although it was an unlikely pairing, both bassist and vocalist seemed to suit each other perfectly. Both were sweet and loyal, although it was clear Mao was wary of engaging in a relationship with the blonde, Kai hoped that one day they would get together. Dragging the two children out of the water, the three bands continued to walk around South Bank, admiring the pretty scenery. They stopped to get ice cream and had to eventually made their way back to the hotel as Manabu got a phone call from the managers.
