Title: Friends in Low Places

Chapter: 9

Content: Yaoi fanfiction, Ruki x Uruha, Kai x Aoi, Manabu x Rui

Summary: On their world tour, Ruki and Uruha become wrapped up in each other, and their bonds become closer. Until one of them breaks that trust. Kai is having difficulty accepting that Aoi loves him and finds an interest in his 'buddy' Manabu. Aoi is unsure of his relationship with Kai, and struggles to keep Kazuki's affections off him. Reita is just plain fed up with all the band members acting childish and is glad when he meets Mao, (vocalist of Sid), who helps him get the two bands under control.

Reita’s POV:

I hope Kou is going to be alright. I’ll kill Takanori if he hurts him again. Kouyou doesn’t need this. Especially not when we are on tour. Reita headed downstairs, to where he knew Kai would still be sitting with Jin, Yuuya and Aoi. Yep, they are still there, talking. Reita headed towards them and pulled Kai aside. Kai leant against the wall as he waited to hear what Reita wanted. 

“Tomorrow, go easy on Uruha.” Reita said.

“What happened?” Kai asked concerned.

“Ruki was a pain in the ass, literally.” Reita stated bluntly.

It took a while before he realised what Reita meant by that, but eventually he understood. “OH MY GOD! Is Uruha alright?”

Reita nodded. “Yeah he will be. He’s with Rui at the moment.”

Kai frowned. 

“What?” Reita asked.

Kai shook his head. “Nothing. Can you tell him that he can sleep in if he wants and go down later to practice?”

“Sure.” Reita replied.

He said goodnight to Kai and headed back up to the room. 

“Hey Reita!” Manabu called.

Reita paused and waited.

“Can I come up and see Rui?” Manabu asked shyly.                       

“Yeah, you don’t have ask.”       

Manabu smiled and followed Reita into the elevator. They were silent as they entered the suite. The lights were off as they entered the living room. Reita found the light switch and smiled. Rui was sitting back against the couch asleep, his mouth wide open, and Uruha had his head in Rui’s lap, his body half falling off the couch. Manabu stood behind him hesitantly. Reita picked Uruha up bridal style and held him against his own body.

“Manabu, can you get the door for me?”         

Manabu nodded and opened the door. “Do you want me to come with you?”

“No thanks, I’ll be fine. Uru’s tall but he’s nothing I can’t handle. You can stay with Rui.”

Reita headed down the hallway to where Uruha’s suite was. He saw Kazuki & Mao coming out of the elevator.  Kazuki looked at them and smiled.
