Monday Morning

The office buzzed with the usual Monday morning chaos. People busy with emails, calls, and endless meetings.

In between these chaos Jia stood by the glass wall, near the canteen hallway, phone in hand, looking out at the city.

From afar, she looked elegant, composed. But up close... her eyes flickered. Like she was waiting for something.

Or someone.

She checked her phone. Every few seconds.

A few minutes later she sighed in relief as her phone buzzed softly in her palm.

She answered with an unreadable smile, her voice low and precise-meant only for the person on the other end to listen.

Meanwhile, in a glass cabin upstairs, a very different kind of chaos were unfolding.

Jimin stared blankly at the screen in front of him, not a single word on the document registering.

His mind was unable to keep pace with the report he was supposed to finish cause his mind wasn't in the office-it was still in Yoongi's home.

It wandered... back to Saturday night.

Yoongi's voice.

His eyes.

That damn photo under the pillow.

Jimin could still feel the weight of the blanket Yoongi had thrown over them. Still feel the electricity from every accidental brush of arms and legs. Could still hear his own stupid question-"Did you mean what you said?" And Yoongi's reply.

"Yeah. I'm scared."

And then... the almost-kiss. That moment. That breathless, silent, universe-altering moment.

He nearly kissed Yoongi.

Worse-he wanted to.

Desperately.

He buried his face in his palms, groaning. What the hell was that?!

Thank heavens for Taehyung to barging in when he did. Otherwise...

His heart stuttered at the thought. What if they had kissed? Would it have changed everything? Would Yoongi regret it?

Nothing made sense. Except the way his heart fluttered-only when it was Yoongi.

He needed coffee. And air. Lots of both.

Jimin stepped out and went downstairs to the canteen for the vending machine. The hiss of brewing coffee filled the silence. He made one for himself-and out of habit, one for yn. Drinking it alone always felt... dull.

But then reality struck.

*Yoongi's department. She's working under him. Which means... he might be there.*

His fingers curled tightly around the cup. No. Not ready for that.

Still, he missed Yn. Needed to talk. Maybe if he shared what happened, he could make sense of it.

So he made his way toward her office.

But just as he turned the corner toward her department, a flicker of movement caught his eye.

Jia.

She was standing a little distance away, near the canteen hallway, facing the glass windows. One hand holding her phone to her ear, the other tucked under her elbow.
