Chapter 24 Ace's POV

We opened the door and dead zombie and human corpses layer EVERYWHERE. "Ewwwwww" Aberdeen starting saying before I cut her off "shhhhh" remember that Emerald might be here along with any kidnappers". We carefully walked through the room there was a staircase also covered in bodies. We slowly crept up the stairs. "Shhhh" I said covering Aberdeen's mouth. We herd some sounds from above us it sounded like "mnmwmsmdnsnsjskdfkdoeksndnfnfjkakajanwhefjvkfkrjf" we couldn't really make out anything. I looked above to the next floor nothing except corpses and stairs they must've gone up. Aberdeen and I started talking at the same time. Aberdeen started saying "We should follow whoever that was" at the same time I said "We should wait a little longer" after a little bit of thought we headed back outside and climbed in a tree and tried sleeping. When we heard something loud come from the tower we both jerked up neither of us fell asleep after an hour of laying we both equipped are selves with are weapons and jumped down from the tree. We rushed into the tower treading through the corpses as if it was mud. We kept going up the stairs we were on the 3rd floor it looked as if there were 5 we got on the 4th there was a giant wall preventing us from getting to the other side of the room. We couldn't go over as it went to the ceiling. We tried everything to break it nothing worked, it was made of makeshift concrete rocks and bits of metal. The compound here was tough we couldn't break it. Then I did the stupidest thing possible. I started shooting at the wall with my shotgun. The bullets started flying everywhere bouncing off the wall it did start breaking the wall. We heard footsteps above us they came down the stairs it sounded like a man "oye who's at are wall your clearly not Zombies he said with an light English accent. "Give us back our friend" I yelled through the wall. "Okay it's you fools. By the way we are not giving your friend back." From that point on I was pissed at this guy. I looked through the little hole I started making and I stared into the barrel of a gun. I quickly got away. I whispered "I don't think he knows your here so think of a way through" Aberdeen nodded and started looking around I had to find a way to get Emerald back "what can I do to get my friend back?" "Why don't you just go away with your other mate." He said. I quickly replied "she was killed...." I drifted off trying to sound sad. There was an emotional pause and then he responded "too bad." I mentally said what the crap man. Aberdeen motioned me to come to the stairs she whispered "I think if we come down here I broke through the floor enough that we can break through and storm in." We went over to the spot she used a rock to break the wood floor. One more would break it and we could ply off a couple planks and hop up. And that's exactly what we did it was so fast I pinned the guy against the wall and put a gun to his head "where is she" I asked angrily. "Upstairs" he stuttered he looked more Indian than English but he had the accent. Aberdeen rushed up the stairs and found Emerald tied up next to a sleeping dude. We untied Emerald and she started talking as we tied both of the kidnappers up. And then we all slept.

Hey guys I want to know if you want chapter 25 to be the finale and a bloodbath it will also be around 1200 words maybe more! If not we can continue the series or I can do a super long special for 25 and it's not the finale no matter what you guys choose AT LEAST one person dies a horrific death. I will spend two hours on our last day of summer working on it. Just comment your suggestions for the special chapter 25
