---???POV---
We walked through the woods for about ten minutes before Lila tripped for the third time.
I picked her up, and set her in my arms, one arm each under her back and knees.
"How well can you run, axle, Faye?" I asked.
"Fairly well, why?" Axle and Faye responded.
I set off at a jog, bored with our pace. "We're burning moonlight. Let's go." I said, jumping a six foot log like it was nothing.
They stopped and stared, then collected themselves and followed me over, climbing instead of jumping...
"Why didn't you just jump?" I asked.
"Because a normal person couldn't make that jump. Especially holding another person." Faye replied.
I hmm'ed and then set Lila down, pulling out my pipes.
Before anyone spoke, I played a tune calling some horses, so they could keep up with my seemingly unflappable stamina.
Three horses appeared, wild horses. The pure white walked up to Lila, and the pitch black stallion went to axle. Then the roan one nudged Faye.
I jumped as high as I could, simply to test my strength, and rocketed up about thirty- thirty five feet, and touched down softly. Their eyes were bulging. Hm.
I said "ready?" They all nodded, and nudged their horses forward. I started running, and the horses galloped to catch up.
Another tree. I rammed my shoulder against it, and it slammed off the road, cracking in two. Interesting. I didn't even break stride.
Then I sensed a large group of people ahead, and smelled metal. I skidded to a halt, and held a hand up to tell the others to stop.
"Party surrounding the road ahead, stay here, guard Lila and Faye." I whispered to axel.
"I can guard myself!" Faye said, then got off her horse. Axel nodded.
"Fine, but be silent." I said, then darted into the trees, making no sound at all, the forest obeying my order to keep me hidden.
I stood in the shadows, next to the camp, not three feet from one of the guards, and listened.
"How do you go about killing a huntsman in the forest, eh? He's a HUNTSMAN!!! The best of the best!
Ain't he a bit of a challenge for us? I heard once that he's immortal inside a forest, cause the fair folk keep him alive." One scout whispered to his partner.
"Horseshit. He's just a man, a very skilled man, yes, but we'll surprise him, and stick to the plan.
Äthyl wants him dead, and we don't wanna cross Äthyl. Alright?" The older of the two said.
There were about twenty in all. Seems Axel was well feared here. They sent twenty men to kill him.
I decided to test my combat ability, instead of pick them off silently.
I drew my katana, and the blade whispered knowledge of magic into me. Didn't see that coming. I really was a battle Mage.
I called lightning and hellfire, a deadly combination, by any standards. My body shone with baleful purple hell fire, my blade crackled with excess electricity, and I savagely leapt into the camp.
--- Faye's POV ---
We crept towards the camp, and he got way too close for me, so I stayed a good fifteen feet back.
