Jade's POV:
Another normal and boring school day. Ugh, I just wish that everything will suddenly turn into something interesting because if nothing does, I am going to die of boredom.
I mean, school is TOTALLY NOT COOL. Everything is too normal and predictable. Cliché, as everyone would call it these days.
As I get up from the school bus' seat, I felt someone sharply tapped my back. I turned around and saw my best friend, Harry Styles. He was grinning hugely, causing his dimples to appear.
Oh, I haven't introduced myself. I'm Jade Thirlwall. And I am into the same sex. I'm gay.
Anyways, I was about to tell you, Harry is cute. He is cute, talented, and kind of smart. But as I said, I'm gay. I'm not into him. And by the way, he's also gay.
Apparently, seeing that maniacally huge smile plastered in his face, it only means one thing.
Louis Tomlinson.
"Let me guess, you just saw Louis, didn't you?" I half teased, half asked.
He blushed a deep shade of red, and if it is possible, his smile got even wider.
"Yeah, I did see him. And he sat near me too. He was at the other side! And he looked at me for like, a couple of times. It MUST mean something!" he excitedly told me.
I just nodded and listened to him talking about Louis. I basically tuned him off at the 50th time he said that Louis is so hot and cute and just freakishly amazing. He always say that.
I had other things in mind, you know? But after walking and thinking about random things, I bumped into someone and that's when I snapped out of my trance.
"I'm sorry. I wasn't looking in my way," a very beautiful voice said.
I looked up at her and I met her crystal blue eyes. She's blonde and she looks so laid back and at the same time, very sincere, like she wasn't even hurt the least bit. She stretched out her hand and I thankfully grabbed it, pulling myself up.
"I'm sorry too. I was, um, I just.." I stammered out, clearly flustered by her intense gaze. She was looking at me curiously, and when I least expected it, she chuckled.
And God is that chuckle so perfect.
"You don't have to apologize," she simply said, and I detected a slight hint of British accent. She smiled warmly and looked away from me to the two girls behind her.
"You're cute," the blonde girl with crystal blue eyes said, and with that, she walked away with her friends.
"Wow, your gay is definitely showing," Harry chuckled.
Oh, right. My friend is here.
I just smiled shyly at him and walked towards my locker. I could care less about Harry but the girl I bumped into was still in my mind. She's so pretty and hot. Also, I haven't seen her here for the past years. I've been stuck in this hellhole for 7 years already, and if someone sees a face and is familiar with them, it's me.
But she looks like she's a new student. Though, a new student in the middle of a semester? That's rare.
She is also very beautiful and looks very regal too. I mean, damn, those blue eyes be bluer than the sky. Oh, and it's crystal blue, by the way. Not just any type of blue.
I can't get that girl out of my mind. Why???? It's driving me crazy.
Riiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnggggggggggg the school bell sounded. I groaned internally and shut my locker closed. I looked around me to see that students are already walking towards their classes. I hurried up and walked to my first class which is English.
------------------------------------
"Holy crap," Harry whispered.
I gasped in surprise to see my best friend behind me. I completely forgot about him. I glared at him and he sheepishly smiled. Then I gave him a questioning look.
"Louis is here," he hissed.
"He's in this class, you know?" I said.
"I know that. But look! He's sitting and talking with another guy. I can't believe it!" he growled.
"You're not his boyfriend, idiot! Why you acting like one?"
"I don't know," he sadly whispered.
Honestly, Harry is such a Drama King, oh wait, Queen, sometimes. He keeps pretending to be Louis' boyfriend even though they never talked to each other yet. He doesn't say that to people, but to me, I know that he acts like one and is damn proud of it.
I walked towards my seat and waited for the teacher.
It felt like a freaking year!
"Class, we have some new students here and they are part of the 2nd batch of the British Exchange students. Girls, please come in," the teacher said.
The first girl who walked into the classroom has long and wavy light brown hair, a very curvy body, and oak brown eyes. She looked around and smiled gently.
The second girl has curly dark brown hair, dark brown eyes, and she's like, rail thin. She looked at the first girl that entered fondly and lovingly and she smiled to herself while looking down.
And the last girl was... Holy crap, it's her!!!!! The girl with the crystal blue eyes. Oh my gosh, okay I need to keep my calm.
She looked at me and grinned and her eyes... darn it! Her eyes gleamed with interest and she like stared at me for 10 full seconds.
"Hello everyone. I am Jesy Nelson and I am 17 years old," the curvaceous girl said.
"I'm Leigh-Anne Pinnock and I am also 17 years old," the thin girl announced.
"And I'm Perrie Edwards and I am 16 years old," the blond girl said. Perrie, remember that name from now on, I told myself. She has such a beautiful name, which suits her beautiful face and possibly, her beautiful personality.
Perrie looked at me again and her intense gaze pierced through me and she was grinning like a mad woman. I kept my head ducked low but not after noticing that Zayn Malik, one of Louis' friends, is smirking and looking at Perrie like she's meat.
No one should be looking at her like that! And if I am honest, he could be a competition when it comes to getting Perrie. I mean, he's definitely hot, he's smart, he can sing, and he's rich. My chances with her are ruined!
Oh, what chance am I even talking about? It's not like she's gay or even bi. She's probably straight, had many boyfriends, and is getting hit on every time. The thought of that is already making me sick.
"Can I sit here?" someone said, and I looked up to see Perrie looking at me with a very happy expression. I know I can't just sit here gawking at her so I just nodded.
On the other side, I saw Harry smirking at me and he had on a devilish look in his face. I glared playfully at him and turned to listen to my teacher.
"So, what's your name?" Perrie asked.
"Um, it's Jade," I said.
"Jade...?" she trailed off.
"Jade Thirlwall," I filled in for her. She smiled and then turned to listen to our teacher.
She's honestly so adorable that I find it incredibly hard to look at her anymore.
After what felt like forever, class was done. I stood up, grabbed my things and started to head for the door.
Only I didn't get there because Perrie grabbed my arm and pulled me back.
"What's your next class?" she gently asked while she loosened the grip on my arm.
"It's uh, Biology," I answered timidly and I'm pretty sure that I am blushing like crazy right now.
She grinned again and said "Me too!". She looks so happy and finally, she let go of me. She looked at me hopefully, probably hoping that I can accompany her to class since we have the same one. So I just smiled warmly and nodded.
And with that, she grabbed my hand and ran through the hall.
