Friday.... Cameron's POV

"BYE MORANNE!" I say walking out the door

" BYE SWEETY!" She calls back

I shut the door and take my time walking down the stairs of the apartment building, I reach the lobby and check the mail box to see multiple letters for Moranne and a singular letter for me from the orphanage. Mrs Moir as always I see.

Yes I've always kept in touch with her even after leaving the Orphanage. She's like a second mother, along side Moranne of course. I smile down at the letter and turn to leave the building when I see them... Liam and Shannon are back. Thank god the j twins and their mother aren't here but still... This is the hypocrite and the one who should be in an institute.

" oh you are finally leaving!" Liam criticises

" actually I'm going to school," I growl

" well, well, well. Actually getting an education? I didn't think that runts like you went to school," Shannon tries to insult

" ok first I'm one of the top students in all academics grades in year 10 as well as Studying in a few year 11 VCE classes. So I'm not a runt if anything I'm exceptional and second orphans get educated too." I explain

They glare at me before storming into the elevator, very slowly might I add. Seriously do not understand their problem with me, especially Liam! He's an orphan himself! I understand I wasn't created by their daughter but I'm still part of her life! They should just be happy for her as well as me!

I try to completely block out any thoughts of those two and focus on walking. I put the letter in my bag when I get to the bus stop and anxiously await for summer to get there. Where is she? She'd be here before me. So where is she?! Before I panic any further the bus arrives and I take one final look in the direction of her house before stepping onto the bus. Thankfully two other people have taken mine and summer's spots In front of Seth and darrel, however the only seat left is the seat across from darrel... Perfect.

" so where's princess today? I wanted to tease her, maybe sneak a kiss," he tells me

I feel a bit of anger boil inside of me as well as jealousy, it's really crap that darrel was summer's first kiss and that he had stolen that kiss. Summer defiantly deserves something better than that tool.  Darrel continues to tease me about summer but I don't listen, I put my hood up and pull the letter out of my bag.

My dearest Cameron,

We got another one a home! Yay! Her name is now Autumn Gillian, she was the exact same age as you were when you got adopted. I really wish you'd met her, she was a nice girl. Much like that girl you described in your last letter, summer, funny they both have the a season name. Anyway! What's happening in your life? and summer! I want to meet her! I want you to come and visit me! I miss you! And the other orphans want to meet the gap toothed boy who survived the bunk bed, it's a pretty infamous story that all the kids love to hear about. As I've said they like to hear stories about the previous orphans. So promise me you will visit soon?

I smile and that's when darrel rips the letter out of my hand. I glare at him and he goes wide eyed before snickering at me.

" with all my love?" He snickers

" she was my carer," I growl pulling the letter back

Darrel snickers more before the bus stops and I get sick of it and punch him in the face. Best feeling ever punching him in the face. I storm off the bus and into the school hearing darrel yell:
