*A/N- ok so if you are super precise with the dates you will know that the dates may be very wrong seeing as the 31st in this book would be a Wednesday and not a Friday but I wanted the dance to Be a Friday so.... Yeah... Just an explanation... Also i am sorry i havent publsihed a chapter in a while ive been working on later chapters and did have a different chapter planned from tuesday but was in fact too lazy to write the rest of it so i left it, deleted it and decided let's just go to the eve of the dance.*
Thursday..... 1 day until the dance
" i cannot believe we are actually getting our dresses the day BEFORE the dance," i say as we walk around the shop.
Yes we are that lazy. We already had the accessories and were just missing the dresses... Perfect. Claudia giggles before shaking her head and rolling her eyes, walking around the perfectly dull coloured store in search of that perfect red almost skin tight dress, felicia is looking for a specific black dress that is expanding in the skirt while i am however looking for a random yellow dress that looks decent... Which is really hard since there seems to be no dresses anywhere of that desription!
" FOUND IT!" Claudia screams
A multitude of other teenagers glare at her while me and felicia are giggling away like idiots. Claudia again rolls her eyes before pulling out the dress and checking the size, felicia surprisingly does this as well with her own dress. They both fan girl at the sizes apparently being the perfect size while i just stand here cracking up laughing.
" you- you guys are ridiculous," i laugh wiping a tear away from my eye
" so?! We found our dresses! Now! Your turn!..." Felicia says browsing the dresses
Claudia begins as well and i groan... This is bikini shopping all over again. I roll my eyes before searching the store for that perfectly yellow belle dress. As i search i slip and fall, i clutch onto one of the dress bags to help break my fall but it ends up falling on top of me, i groan and hear claudia snickering away. I huff as i sit up and look down to the dress on my legs, a yellow flowy dress that is utterly stunning. I stand up and quickly check the size and price... YES ITS PERFECT! AND IN MY PRICE RANGE! Ok, thats just weird, like a weird coincidence in a book or something.
" YES! YES! YES!" I scream jumping up and down holding the dress close to me.
Claudia and Felicia snicker more before i eventually stop. We pay for our dresses and exit the shop, we walk into the crowd of the shop when suddenly Claudia stops.
" what is it claudia?" I ask as she stares into the shop
" i just had a great idea,"
Me and Felicia exchange confused looks as Claudia walks into the shop, we stay out side the shop and look in confused. Claudia soon walks back out with three bags in hand, she hands one to Felicia and then one to me. I peek inside it to see a denim looking shirt, white skirt, black flats and blue bow. What?
" what is this claudia?" I ask
" well... We could do something crazy and dress as our characters. I bought Felicia basically full cosplay since shes so dedicated she dyed her hair dark green for the dance and loves cosplay. Except i bought black boots and skates incase you wanted wear one or the other, i bought my self a red crop top with purple jeans and red heels for Jessica rabbit and then I bought you something simple but with the belle theme. We could wear this to school then our dresses for the dance. And this was a gift no giving me money ok?" She says
We just look at her gobsmacked. Wow Claudia. Wow.
" your welcome guys! Now to summers house?" She asks
