A Christian 'CC' Coma love story.....

12 week scan.....

As I got dressed I started thinking about if there was a little boy or a little girl growing in my belly. I got dressed in a regular pair of black jeans and a oversized black sweater. I pulled on a pair of plain black converse and waled downstairs. I was met by Christian, holding a mug of tea out for me. I took it and smiled softly as Isipped at it.

"You nervous about today?" I asked, Christian nodded and said "yeah, just a little bit. But I'm also excited to see if were having a little boy or a little girl." I nodded in agreement and we stood in the kitchen in silence for a while. Then it was time to leave for the hospital, we walked out to my car and I went to get into the drivers side but Christian stopped me. "You've gotta be careful now," he said as he got in, I laughed and walked round and got in the passenger side.

We got to the hospital on time and went straight to the maternity building where they did the scans. We were sat in the waiting room for five minutes when the nurse called us inside. Once we were in the room and she shut the door she said, "Mrs Coma, if you could please lie down on the chair and lift your sweater up we can start." I nodded, laid down and lifted my sweater up, exposing my belly.

"Now this might be a bit cold so I apologise," she said as she squirted some gel on my belly. And she was right, it was cold. She bagan moving the scanner thingie over my belly and when she found my baby she turned the screen round to me and Christian. I gasped, my little blip was now a little baby, you could make out the head from the body.

"It's so perfect," I whispered, I looked up at Christian tearing up. He took my hand and we just looked at ech other for a moment, then I looked back at the screen. "Well your baby is perfectly healthy, no defects and it is growing perfectly. If you wish I can also tell you the sex of the baby," the nurse said. I looked back to Christian and he nodded, I turned back to the nurse and nodded.

"Well it seems that you are going to have a beautiful baby boy," she said. And my smile just grew, I looked up at Christian and he was crying, I rested my hand on his cheek and wiped away his tears. The nurse wiped off the gel and went to go get copys of the sonogram, I pulled my sweater down and sat up, I looked to Christian and lept into his arms. I pulled away and said "a little boy, a little you." Christian smiled and rested a hand on my belly, "I guess now we know he's healthy, we can tell everyone," he said sounding very nervous.

I nodded and the nurse came back with pictures and a dvd. We smiled and said our thank you's and Christian drove us home, on the way home I texted everyone to come over to mine and Christian's cause I wanted to show them something.

We got home pretty quick and went straight inside, I got my apple laptop and hooked it up to the huge tv in the living room. A few mintutes later everyone arrived, and I do mean everyone. I had texted all of AA, BVB, Ronnie, Suzella, Kier, Jayy, Dahvie, Matty (Mullins), Matt (Good), Lawrence, Kellin and Vic. They all poured into the living room, from my seat on the sofa I gestured for them all to sit down.

"Thank you all for coming so quickly, there is something I would like to show you all," then as Christian took his spot beside me, I pressed a button on my laptop and the dvd of the sonogram started playing on the tv. It took everyone a while to realise what it was, then when everyone did they turned to face me and Christian in shock.

"Yup, I've got a bun in the oven," I said and everyone swamped me with questions. They were all practically the same questions, so I stood up on the sofa and shhhed everyone. "Ok so to answer the basic questions, I've been pregnant for twelve weeks, the baby is perfectly healthy. And it's a boy," I said and was met with cheers.

I sat back down and started talking to Suzella, "I'm so happy for you, you'll be a great mother," she said as she nudged me shoulder slightly. I laughed and was about to respond when I was pulled away by Andy, Dad and Mom. "How come you didn't tell us? I mean we're your family," Andy said sounding a little annoyed. God, I didn't want them to be angry with me, "I didn't tell you cause I didn't want to disappoint you if the baby didn't survive," I said my voice breaking and looking at the ground, too scared to look into their eyes.
