Grace's POV:
Maybe Kayla is right. Maybe Derick does like me. No no no that's insane. I mean yes we did date in 9th grade but it ment nothing. I mean it ment something but- ugh my thoughts are not helping!
"Grace!" Mrs.Allen asked.
"wait what? I'm sorry," I said putting my hand to my face. "yes you should be, now pay attention!" she yelled.
Ugh I hate teachers.
The bell finally rang!
I was walking down the hallway only to be stopped by, Derick.
"Hey sis!" he said trying to give me a hug. Which I let him. This hug was different. Something was going on inside of me...I know this feeling, BUTTERFLY'S!
"hey bro!" I said half smiling. "you okay?" he asked looking concerned. "yeah I'm fine" I said laughing a bit to lighten the mood. "grace is someone hurt you, I'll hurt them!" Derick said angry. "Derick calm down!" I said putting my right hand on his chest. "I'm fine, no one hurt me, I'm fine," I said softly trying to calm him down. I guess it worked. He looked down at me and smiled. "I'll see you at lunch?" I said hugging him. "see ya!" he said hugging back.
I turned around. I felt a smile creep on to my face. I have hugged him so many times and now I start to "feel" something? No I don't feel anything. He is just my friend. Nothing more- "Hey sex muffin!" I heard Kayla yell infront of me. "oh my gosh! Kayla I was thinking!" I said running my hands through my hair. "about?" she asked wiggling her eyebrows. "the thing you told me earlier," I said softly. "see!" she yelled in my ear. "see what?!" I yelled back. "your starting to get the feels toward him! Just like I said," she said wrapping her arm around mine feeling accomplished. I yanked it away laughing. "no, I don't have the "feels"," I said putting air quotes around feels. "only One Direction can give me those!" I said laughing. I needed to change the subject on this. After I said that she could stop talking about Harry's super tight jeans. Which are sexy! But I had more to worry about.
Derick's POV:
I walked away from Grace finally calm. I seriously thought someone hurt her! No one could ever hurt grace. They know who they would have to deal with. I hope she wasn't lying. If Josh tries to get with her, I will be so mad. I mean she is my sister. Well not really but were like brother and sister. Well I still sorta like her but it's nothing. I kinda have my eye on someone.
