taylors pov:
i started making my way down stairs to meet calum. he was standing right near the door. he was wearing black skinny jeans and a band tee, with his red converse.
" hello, irwin " he greeted me.
" last name basis. huh? hood. where is everyone? " he let out a faint chuckle and my cheeks turned pink.
" they all went to the beach. i told them we would meet them later. "
" okay well. where we going? "
" this diner down the street. it's only a few minutes away. we could walk if thats okay with you? "
" yeah thats fine. i need to get some exercise anyway. " he, again, chuckled.
" okay and no you dont your beautiful. " i didnt know what to say so I just smiled.
we walked out of the house and started talking.
" so are you going the party tonight? " i asked.
" umm i was thinking about it. and about asking someone but im not sure yet. are you? "
" i think i am. "

me and calum finished our food and was paying the bill. before I could even see how much money it was, calum payed.
" calum! " i said to him.
" yes? "
" I could've payed for my own food. "
he didnt say anything, he just shook his head and giggled.
" taylor, will you go with me to the party tonight? "
he asked me and i replied quickly.
" I don't know, hood. " his face froze and he just looked down at his hands.
" oh my god calum! i was just kidding. of course i will go with you! where is it?"
" its at mikeys cousins house. i will text you the address. "
" okay. thank you. " we then started walking outside the diner and to the beach.
" thank you again calum. for paying. " i said breaking the silence as we walk.
" no problem, love. " he said, then kissed my temple.

right when me and calum got to the beach it started to rain and we saw our friends packing up their things. they walked towards us.
" aww taylor and cal sitting in a tree. "
michael started singing.
" shut up! "
" aw you guys! " brigid said to us looking at our linked hands. i didnt even realize we were holding hands.
" are all of us going the party tonight? " calum asked. we were all standing in a circle. we all nodded our heads.
" oh shit! ashton your birthdays tomorrow! " michael yelled causing ashton to laugh.
" really?! mine is too. " brigid added in.
" yeah since the birthdays at michaels cousins. he got me a cake! " ashton said so happily. " brigid, i will add your name on the cake! "
brigid just laughed. " okay. "
we all walked back to the house and started getting ready for the party considering it was in 4 hours!
