Queen Grace's POV
"No you can't have him stay with us. I barely know him, if I get to know him he maybe can." I said with a stern face. "NOOO!" Serena whimpering.
Flashback Serena POV
Everything was going to be perfect. We are going to live together forever and be married and have kids and go on great adventures. Everything would be perfect.
I know I'm not an adult yet but I still have to ask my mom to let him stay with us. Of course. I'm being too silly.
"Hey mom can I ask you a question?" I asked. "Yeah anything honey." She answers. I forgot to say I have beside me, so she can't resist to say yes. "Can my new friend Ash stay with us?" I said pointing. "Nope. I barely know him. I f I did maybe you could." She was pointing to Ash. I started to tear up then I heard a faint voice from Ash. "Back to the streets I guess." Ash felt very down. We walk back to my room. "Listen I'm really-"
I got cut off by Ash saying "don't apologize I get this a lot. People want me to live with them but it always ends up like this."
I swear I saw a tear in his corner of his eye. "I will always visit you after school." I say trying to cheer him up.
Then my mom came in. With 2 security guards beside her. "Please escort this boy very nicely." My mom said.
Ash's POV also End of Flashback
Everything went from super happy to sad in a matter of seconds. I remember that very vaguely. My dreams of hope have completely ended. I'm back on the streets. I thought she would never come to get me again. But I was wrong. Everyday after school or whenever she has free time.
We like to get food and go to the park. That makes me feel pretty good. The sadness happened about 3 weeks ago. But one day Serena came after school with a big box that was wrapped. She looked at me. Put the box down in my hands. Said nothing. Walked away. One day, I mean yesterday.
I open the card.
Dear Ash,
I am hoping you can join my family and I at a dinner on Saturday. Wear your best clothes I bought you. I'll be waiting at the entrance of the castle at 7 o clock. 😊.
Sincerely, Serena Yvonne.
P.s. My mom is giving you
A chance to impress her.The present was a nice tux and a sleeping bag. I didn't really have a place to sleep so this was something new. I am actually really excited.
The dreams are still on.
