Wretched and Relentless

New Beginnings

I looked out the window of the taxi i was in and gazed at the london lights. It was 3am and i was tired as shit. You may ask why? Me and my best friend Danny were over here with our suitcases with intent of starting a band. We just got out the airport after a long flight from America.

"Oi, Danny" i croaked. He was snoring like a wild animal. "Oi!"
Danny jolted awake in shock then reached over and punched my arm lightly. "Dickhead" Danny said jokingly. "We here yet?"
"Yeah, god im knackered, the house is this next turn" I said.
"Is it? Fuckin hell it is, you sure your parents dont mind?" Danny said. "Yeah, wait shit i didnt tell them youre staying too!" I swore under my breath", "Mate itll be fine, honestly your parents love me, im perfect!" He said grinning wildly. It was true they did. But we were staying there for a possible number of weeks until we got our own appartment. More of a base than anything!

The taxi drove slowly up my road with him turning to me for directions. "Just here mate" i said and the car halted. Danny burst out of the car and groaned "god thats bliss" he said stretching his legs. "We were only in there for half an hour" i chuckled, clambering out and getting the cases "Well say what you like Ben but we had a 10 hour flight!" Exclaimed Danny, "There was the airport in between mate". "heres 30, keep the change" i said to the taxi driver, he nodded happily and shook my hand. "Right then Bennyboy, lets get going" replied Danny chirpily, as he began towards my house. I sighed and started after him, rolling my case.

We reached the house and i fumbled around for my keys in my rucksack. I unlocked the door to find complete silence. "Right Danny i mean it now more than ever, be quiet" i whispered.
"OKAY" Danny whisper shouted, mocking me. I palmed his face and and he licked it. "Ugh your breath fuckin stinks of booze!" I said as we crept upstairs. I creaked open my door and let us into my room. "Danny, you can take the sofa yeah?" I said to which Danny nodded curtly and put his case down and all but passed out on the sofa, his eyes shutting almost straight away. I rolled my eyes, animal. I thought as i chuckled and climbed into bed.
