Chapter 4: Trusting Lox

Alena's POV

I woke up and made everyone breakfast and i then went to Lox and I's room and woke her up and then I went downstairs and yelled at the boys to wake up, they got mad because 1. I woke them up and 2. I woke Lox up before I yelled at them but they didn't care after they tasted my food. After breakfast we went down to the beach and I didn't wanna go so I just told everyone I will go outside but NO WATER!

We were outside everyone in the water but Lox and I but then "Hey i'm gonna go in you coming?" Lox asked me "No i'm good you go have fun" I told her and off she went into the water. I wish I can just go into the water without any problems. I then saw G walking over to me and he was about to pick me up but I ran screaming "I WILL NOT GO INTO THE WATER!!!!" G got everyone to help him get me into the water except Lox. They think they are faster than me but it won't work Lox just sat there video taping the whole thing and it was kinda funny how they think they can get me but if I got water on me I would turn into a mermaid which isn't good.

I made it out alive and ran into the house and locked the bedroom door and started crying. A few minutes later Lox knocked on the door. "Alena please let me in" she pleaded "Is anyone else with you?" I asked her "No it's just me the guys are down at the beach" She said to me so I went to open the door and I quickly locked it again. She saw me crying and immediately came to me and hugged me. "What's wrong?" Lox asked me "I can't tell you" I responded back to her "Alena you can tell me anything i'm here for you okay?" she said. I trusted her so I was going to show her and not tell her. "Ok I'm not going to tell you but i'll show you" I said to Lox. I opened the window and noticed that the boys were looking the other way so I used my powers so grab a little bit of water and brought it to the window and let it hit my legs and instantly my legs turned into my beautiful tale that I love, sure I could have just used the bathroom but what's the fun in that.

Mahogany was amazed by the fact that I was a mermaid and instantly started asking me questions which I was fine with. But before I answered her I got a towel and dried my tale and they then turned back into legs.

I cut off Lox "Ok Lox how about I just tell you everything and if you have any questions at the end you ask them ok?" she nodded her head in approval and I started telling her my whole story.

First of all I was born into royalty I'm the princess of the seas but I also was born with something more special. There's this myth that actually isnt a myth anymore. Anyways they say every 100 years a new person is chosen randomly to be the "Lucky One" as I like to call it which you are stronger mentally and physically.  Pretty much you're the strongest one in the sea, the way you know this is when a mermaid or merman is born their eyes flash a rainbow but then go back to their natural color and as you can see mine are a purple with a hint of blue. Anyways all my life I had to stay in the castle in was boring but when I was 8 I started understanding my powers and I found a way to get away from the castle and be somewhat free. I spent most of my time outside the castle and it was wonderful sometimes I would go above the water and watch everyone from a distant and remember every moment of it since I thought I would never be able to go to the land. When I was 10 I never stopped asking my parents to go to the land but they kept saying know no. The day when I came here was the day I got into a fight with my parents I told them I understand my powers fully and I can control myself and I told them I'm almost 18 I deserve to go but they didn't care so I left and I thought I'm finally free and I was I got to live my dream. Some nights when you guys were sleeping i would talk to my parents through the waves it I know it sounds weird. By the way my powers are that I am very strong, I'm very fast, I can move water, I can heal people I can see people's dreams, I can hear what they are thinking but don't worry I only used that on Bart.

At this point Lox was speechless but then she finally spoke "I'm happy that you are free and living your dream but I am upset that you got in a fight with your parents, but besides that point can you show me your rainbow eyes?" She said all excited I changed my eyes color and she was so amazed it was funny. We went downstairs in the basement to notice the guys wrestling (my eyes are back to their original color) I look at lox and she was thinking the same thing I was thinking. I looked over at her and smirked "hey can I wrestle the champion out of you guys" I ask the boys they looked at me and laughed but I just said "what you scared to lose to a girl" their laughter died down and Taylor said "fine you can try to win". After a while Cam ended up beating everyone and it was now my turn "Hey lox can you video tape this I want everyone to remember the day Cam lost to a girl." "Sure, but before we start I wanna bet on this" she said

Lox was the only to bet for me and by the looks of it she's gonna get lots of money, the boys were betting $10 that if Cam won Lox had to give each of them $10 but if Lox won then Lox would get $$$$. Before the game begun Cam wanted to sate the rules, "Ok the rules are no biting or scratching got it" "Yes Cam but you have to actually try" "But I don't wanna hurt you" he said "don't worry i'm a strong little girl" I said to him and with that Lox started the countdown

"I won suckers but Cam you're actually pretty good" I said "Thanks, you're not to bad yourself" "Thanks" Later that night we ordered pizza for dinner and then I layed down next Nash and fell asleep.
