I started packing things for the show this Saturday and it's Wednesday. I grabbed my good luck charm. It's a vine and clover clip that is always with me when I'm riding in shows. I wrote in my list of what to pack.
What to pack:
1. Hair net
2. Extra riding socks
3. Breeches
4. Chaps
5. Riding gloves
6. Good luck charm
7. My pride
This Saturday I was competing in a dressage competition. Ballou and I were doing a number that is themed as hunting. So I had my long side braid....to save time lets say I looked like Katniss Everdeen, but with a horse. Ballou has been trained in lots of different things for riding. I ride him for all of my competitions. I can't imagine the day he's not with us anymore.
"Awww!" I exclaimed.
Boots walked in. I stroked her black and white fur. She hopped on my lap and started sleeping.

15 minutes later
Boots finally woke up. I managed to turn the TV on and watch some shows. I got up and put my breeches on, along with my plaid button up shirt. I walked by the front door and put my Blundstones and my cowboy hat on. I started walking to the barn and on the way I stopped to see how Paddington was. I still hadn't managed to put Rumer in the small paddock. Rumer at one point would have to leave her mom, Angel. Paddington was sleeping in the little covered area. I had to give him his medication. I walked into the barn to grab it, then gave the medication to Paddington.

After the medication dilemma
I walked into my barn, I went by my dad's horse Chip, a school pony named Iris and then Ballou's stall. I brought him out to the wash stalls. (I didn't use a lead rope, Ballou follows me anywhere he can). I started washing his fur.
"See you soon good luck charm" I said quietly.
