Chapter 5: Secrets

After school I went and picked up the flour baby. Then I saw Kelly.

"Hey Kelly." I said all happy.

"Henry..." She said and looked down at the ground. She looked all sad. "Nevermind. So I see you have the flour baby."

"Oh yeah. I promised Piper that I would go to the mall with her to finger phone so here." I gave her the flour baby.

"I understand." She said. Then she walked away.

"Wait." I said and then she turned around. "Meet me at my house at four. Okay."

"Okay." She said and then left. I just didn't get it. Why was she so sad? Was she worried that Chase might cheat on her? Well I knew she going to be okay but what was that worst that could happen?

After I got the flour baby I saw Chase. So I walked up to him and tried my best not to embarrassed my self.

"Hi Chase I am Jessica. So where do you want to go and be a parent with me or do you just want to take turns taking care of Danny?" I said.

"What?" He said all confused. "Oh the flour baby."

"Yeah."

"Why did you name it Danny?" He asked.

"After Danny Phantom. The greatest show ever or should we name it Steven?"

"Why Steven?"

"After Steven Universe. Duh."

"Can we go to your house my father doesn't like guest."

"Sure. Follow me." So as walked to my house he talked about his father and how strict he was.

"I feel bad. Do you even have a mother?"

"No she died trying to save me from Captain Man." He said all sad. I felt so bad for bringing it up.

"Who's Captain Man?" I asked.

"Some super villain that acted good and basically erase you from everyone memories."

"Oh. I am sorry for bringing it up." I put my head down. Then Chase grabbed my head and looked right into my eyes and kissed me. Then I pushed away.

"You have a girlfriend!!" I yelled.

"My job is done." He grabbed my hand and put a syringe on my arm. Then I blacked out.

~~Three Days Later~~

I woke up in a hospital. I saw my mom and dad.

"Jessica your okay!" My mom said. Then came to hug me.

"How long has it been?" I asked.

"Three days. The doctors didn't know if you would live or not." My dad said. I was shocked. Was I about to die?

"Mom, dad I need my rest." I said then they both left. I was about to sleep and then Chase came in. So I pretend to be asleep.

"Jessica I am so sorry." Chase said. But the last thing I remember was he kissed me. "Jessica my father made me. Jessica I know your asleep but do you remember how I said my mother died because of Captain Man. Well I didn't tell you the full story." I wanted to stop him from continuing. But I didn't, because he wanted to vent. So I let him continue.

"She died trying to save me. My father is a super villain. He said that if my mother tried to save me that she would die trying. She was so close but failed and my father killed her." He sounded like he was crying.

"After Super Sky set me free I had to go back to my father. He said I was a mistake. He said I had to prove myself to him. By following in his footsteps like my grandfather. To become evil or die knowing I was a mistake and was nothing to the family name. When I kiss you, I poisoned you. You now are slowly becoming evil. I didn't want to do that to Kelly so I did it to you. I am truly sorry." He left. After a few minutes I knew it was safe enough to cry. I knew he wasn't coming back.

**Kelly's pov**

So I went to Henry's house to study and take care of the flour baby. We decided to name the baby Sam. After my undying love for Danny Phantom. So I picked Sam because she was just pure awesome. Girl Power but of course I didn't tell Henry that. So then I wanted up to Henry's house and knocked on the door. Then Piper answered.

"So is Henry here?" I asked.

"Get lost blonde!" Piper said.

"I am not even a blond." Then I saw Henry. "Henry!" I yelled just to get Henry's attention.

"Kelly! Piper let her in." Henry said.

"No!" Then she slammed the door in my face. Then Henry opened the door.

"Come in." He said. Then we went into his room and saw the flour baby on the floor.

"Henry! Why is the flour baby on the floor?!"

"Because its not a real baby!"

"Henry this project is like half of our health grade and I do not want to fail!" I was so angry.

"Uh... Kelly..." He said sounding a bit scared.

"What?!"

"You are on fire. No joke. Like for real flaming hot." I looked down and realize I that my hands were on fire.
