I Guess This Is Goodbye, For Real

Greg's POV
"How did this happen??" I asked Garnet. "I didn't know the effects." Garnet said. "Ohh." I replied. Steven was laying in his bed in the hospital. We wern't in the room with him, but I wish we were. The gems where sitting with me, so was Connie. Pearl was crying so hard, and Amythest was confronting her. Garnet just sat there, waiting.

Steven's POV
Everything was blurry, and many people were talking. I was in a hospital, but I have no idea why. My gem was healed, but I was still in pain. People were running in and out. To me it looked like my friends. I wondered why. Then, Pearl, Garnet, Amythest, Dad, and Connie come in.

Pearl's POV
Steven was looking at us. I got closer to him. He was looking at me. They told us we had to go, but I refused. They then said we will see him later, after he's out. I just walked out, waiting.

Amythest's POV
After 30 minutes, the softer brought us back in. Steven was lying on a regular bed. The docters looked at us and said "He won't be able to survive," then walked out. Greg was starting to cry. "Guys." Steven said weakly. We all got close to him.

Steven's POV
The gems, my dad, and Connie surrounded me. They all had tears. "I love you guys." I said again, weakly. They all smiled, but they still had tears. Then, everything started to fade, and all the sounds got blocked off. Then, I stopped breathing.

Pearl's POV
I was the fist to notice he stopped breathing. "STEVEN!!!!!" I yelled, as tears fell from my eyes. Everyone surrounded me. I hugged him, and I wouldn't stop crying. We all stayed in the room forever, until it was dark. As we left the room I thought. We'll never forget you Steven, and we'll always love you."
