I woke up the next morning and I felt strange. I wasn't mad as usually was when I woke up. I was happy. For once in my life I was happy. I felt around my bed for Matt. He wasn't there. I stood up and headed towards the door. I poked my head out. He was making breakfast.

I headed towards the bathroom to take a nice long shower. They always relaxed me in a way. I wrapped a towel around me and went to my room. Matt was sleeping on my bed. I went and picked out a nice long sleeve shirt and a pair of black skinny jeans. I dropped my towel.
"Shirley," Matt mumbled. I quickly picked my towel and wrapped it around me. He turned to his side and continued to sleep. Is he having a dirty dream about me? I giggled at the thought. I quickly got dressed.
"MATT!" I yelled. He got up.
"What happened?" He looked in every direction possible.
"Wake up." He laid back down. He covered his face with a pillow and groaned. "Matt come on let's go get breakfast," I whined. I pulled him off of the bed. "Okay, okay, fine." I laughed. This was probably the first time in a long time I had breakfast with Matt alone. We were always hanging out with the boys and never had time to ourselves.

I walked into the kitchen and saw what he had made. "Who taught you how to make an omelet?" I asked him.
"I may have or may not have watched a video on how to do it." I laughed. I set out the table. Matt then placed the omelets on the plates as I poured orange juice into cups we had made in the third grade. We sat down.

"Really?" He said looking at his cup.
"They're cute." I smiled.
"Mine looks really crappy." He said taking a bite out of his omelet.
"No, it doesn't mine does." He looked at my cup.
"Yeah, you're right." I laughed.
"So what should we do today?" I asked. He shrugged. "It's a Sunday and we usually stay in and watch TV or Netflix." I smiled.
"Netflix it is then." We finished breakfast and went back into the room. Matt, still in his boxers, went outside to get the mail.
"You're so lucky I don't have neighbors Matt." He laughed.
"They're comfortable." He came back into the room and handed me the mail. It's probably just money my grandparents send me every month.

Matt laid down next to me. Being the boring person I am, I had already watched about everything on Netflix. "We should watch American Horror Story that's one of my favorite TV shows." He lifted an eyebrow. "Is it supposed to be scary?" I laughed. "It's different every season so there's no official way to describe it." He laughed. "I guess we can. It sounds interesting." I giggled. "Let's watch it then." We watched episode after episode.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"So Violet is dead?"
"Yeah, when she tried to overdose she actually did and Tate hid her body to hide her from the truth." His jaw dropped. "Have you not been watching?"
"I was until I fell asleep." We laughed. There was a knock at the door. I passed him my wallet.
"Pizza," I said. He nodded and left. He came back with the large box of pizza. I smiled.
"What?" He asked.
"Nothing. I'm just happy." He laughed.
"You're so weird." He placed his lips on mine.
"I love you."
"I love you too, Shirley."

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"There's a slice left, want it?" He shook his head no. "Your loss." I bit into the pizza. "Hey, can you pause it, please? I'm gonna go throw it out." He groaned.
"But it was getting good." He whined.
"Please." He paused it. "Thank you." I smiled.

I headed outside. It was quite dark for a summer night. I began walking towards the trash can when I heard some rustling.
"Hello?" I said as I stopped to look around.
"Yeah, like the killer is gonna say hi back and ask you how you're doing." I angrily mumbled to myself. I began walking towards the house when I bumped into someone. "Hey," I said rubbing my head. "Are you okay?" I observed the person's every move carefully. They remained quiet. "Do you need help?" I asked.
"Badman." They said.
"Badman? Who are you talking about." There was more rustling. They pushed me onto the ground and covered my mouth. Then placed a finger on their lips.
"Where did the little brat go?" A man's voice.
"Who let him go anyways?" Him?
"Look lights." Matthew.
"Break in." I felt a tear slide down my face.
"Nobody has to die tonight, come on. We'll look for him in the morning." The sound of leaves crunching became distant. He removed his hand from my mouth.
"Are you okay?" he whispered. I nodded. He helped me stand. "I'm Noah." He shook my hand. "And you are?" I let out a heavy sigh.
"Um-" He cut me off.

"Nice to meet you um." Something has to be wrong with this kid.
"No, my name is Shirley."
"Well nice to meet you, Shirley." What am I supposed to do with him?
"Do you have anyone who I can call to come and pick you up or something?" He touched my hand.
"You are very soft." He said as he caressed my wrist. I hesitantly pulled away. What is Matthew going to think?
"Would you like to come in?" I offered.
"Do you have ice cream?" he asked.
"Yeah, I do."
"Chocolate?"
"Yes."
" I like chocolate ice cream." He said as he walked to the door. "Your living space is nice. I like the light, the light is good." He walked in and took a seat on the couch. "This is a nice chair. It's nice and soft like your skin. Can I touch your face? I bet it's soft." It wasn't 'til this moment I got a good view of his facial features. He had bright brown eyes and had light brown hair. He was quite muscular and tall not to mention his chiseled jaw. His skin was fair but it didn't compare to his locks which were giving me a huge 2013 Harry Styles vibe. He placed his hand on my cheek. "It is soft! I knew it!" He gently caressed my cheek and admired my skin. "Wow, you're amazing."
"Shirley?" I looked over to see a shirtless Matthew Espinosa in his boxers.
"Matthew! Hey! Noah this is my boyfriend Matthew." I said as I walked over to stand next to him.
"Emphasis on the boyfriend." He said as he pulled me close.
"Hello, Matthew. Shirley is soft I touched her body."
"He touched my cheek!" I quickly yelled.
"I know softer places." Matthew scoffed.
"Can I touch them?" Noah asked. Matthew clenched his fist.

"Alright! Moving on. Let me get you that ice cream." Matthew tugged on my arm.
"Can I talk to you?" he looked over at Noah. "In private." I nodded and followed him into my room. "Who is he, Shirley? Are you cheating on me?"
"No Matthew he kind of just wandered to our house because these men were following him and he may have saved my life and I didn't know what to do so I brought him in hoping you wouldn't get mad and-" He pulled me in for a hug.
"It's fine. I believe you." He brushed my hair to the side. Noah pushed the door open.
"Can I get some ice cream now?" I tucked a strand of hair behind my ear.
"Yeah, sure."
"And maybe get him some clothes too." Matthew added. I blushed at the sight of Noah in his briefs. "Yeah okay," I said as I rushed to the room trying to avoid looking at Noah's crotch. I quickly grabbed a pair of Matthew's sweatpants and brought them over to him.

"Here have some sweatpants." I tried not to break eye contact.
"These are for my legs, correct?" he asked.
"Is there another place to put them?" I asked.
"I don't know maybe your arms?"
"Noah, it was a rhetorical question." He furrowed his eyebrows.
"Rhetorical question? What is that?" I sighed.
"Let me just get you that ice cream." I headed into the kitchen and grabbed the ice cream from the freezer. "Here's your ice cream." He smiled happily and quickly began to eat the pint of ice cream.
"Are you going to leave him without a shirt?" Matthew whispered. I couldn't help but laugh.
"I could use some eye candy." I teased. He lifted an eyebrow.
"Eye candy? I got something you can look at." He whispered with a smirk.
"Don't tease me." I said trying not to turn red. He smiled.
"What am I making you all hot and bothered?" He said wrapping his arms around my waist.

"I'm sleepy." Said Noah. He rubbed his eyes. "I'm going
to sleep now." He laid down on the couch and closed his eyes. I sighed as Matthew headed back to the room.
"I guess I'll go get him the blanket." I went to the hallway closet and pulled out a small blanket. "Here you go." I covered him with the blanket and fluffed his pillow then kneeled down next to him. "Need anything else?" I asked.
"No thank you Shirley. Thank you for being so nice to me." He caressed my cheek. "I've never felt so much love." I let my cheek melt into his hand. "It feels so good to be with you and I'm happy I got to meet you even if we almost died." I couldn't help but laugh. "Anyways goodnight Shirley." He moved his hand away from my face and closed his eyes.
"Goodnight Noah."

I turned off the lights and walked back to the room. "Hey." Matthew patted the space next to him. I turned the lights off and laid next to him. "You alright?"
"Just a little stressed." I admitted.
"It's alright." He intertwined our fingers. "We got this." He wrapped his arm around my waist and rested his head on my chest. "We're fine. We can do this. I promise. Just don't fall in love with him." I smiled and played with his hair until I fell asleep.
