I still fought. The girl dragged my body into the house and the door closed. She didn't close it. Someone else was here to. My heart beat so painfully I wouldn't care if it decided to stop. This was standas...
No one has ever seen someone be taken. The girl let go of me. I darted for the back door but I felt a needle go into my arm and everything in my body became sluggish. Slower. I dropped to the ground. The girl sighed. " Your enjoying this aren't you Dipper?" The female voice said in exasperation. I heard a amused laugh. "Yeah termentiously." A male voice said.
The girl huffed. "We'll pick her up and sit her on the couch... At least help,"
"I got her Jasmine," he replied. I felt surprisingly gentle hands on me as I was lifted up. I couldn't move. It was hard to feel my limbs. He sat me on the couch sitting me all the way up. I looked into his eyes and flinched. They weren't brown.
They weren't like everybody else. The boy looked a bit younger then me. With wide hard odd green eyes. They weren't a normal green. Like an ever green. A green like leaves. His skin was peachy. Something I've only heard of but never seen. He was tall about my height. Somehow his gaze made him look older. Even older then me. His hair was a golden brown. He had a huge scar from the side of his eye to the side of his cheek. He's a bit thin. His eyes were studying me just as mine were studying him. "Your not standas" I said firmly eyeing him and the girl. She had beautiful dark skin and thick eyelashes her eyes slitted seductively hair straight. She wore the same outfit I did. She had a bit of a curvy body. She smiled at me. But looked back at the male concern in her eyes. I met the guys eyes again. "Hello Quinn"
I said nothing just stared at him.
He leaned back gaze appraising. "Your not as I pictured you to be" he sighs sadly. I narrowed my eyes at him. I still couldn't move anything really but my eyes and lips. "Who are you" I demanded.
He blinked his ever green eyes solemn. "Your brother..." he said matter of fact. I shook my head eyes wide. "The only family I have is Nanna,"
His jaw grew taunt anger rising.
"You, are my sister my older sister"
I frowned. Disbelieving. We looked nothing alike and besides that he almost looked my age! Plus Nanna would have told me if I had a brother...
"What are you?" I questioned. He clearly wasn't everyone.
His eyebrows raise in surprise. "I'm human."
He continued to stare at me as if he were waiting for something to happen. "And you aren't..." He trailed off as if stating the thought out loud.
I grimaced. "I'm like everyone else. We are us and I am you"
He sighed. "Now we both now that last part isn't true..."
He rubbed his neck in stress. "But you are like me... like us. Somewhere deep i know this" he added. The girl kneeled down close to me and grinned at me warmly. A blazing one. A real one. Her eyes a warm glow. "My name is jasmine. It's nice to meet you Quinn," she greeted excitedly. The male smiled at her before looking back at me. "I'm Lewis" he spoke to me.
"What did you do to me?" I asked the girl named Jasmine. Her smile fell. "I injected something to slow you down keep you from moving just so you would hear us out... Your brother went through a great deal to get to you." I saw movement. His hands reaching and looked down to see them holding hands.
"You have to leave this city and come with us Quinn," he says urgently.
I shook my head. " I'm not leaving Nanna and I don't know who you crazies are," The boy flinched then laughed. "We'll your a weakling aren't you!" He yelled at me. Voice angery. "Easy! Do you know what standas is doing sis? There letting you block out those dreams like you have them fooled, and waiting for you to explode with them... Like feeding a chicken and making it fat before the slaughter" he snapped.
He stood up body shaking with rage. "We'll I came and said my peace and tried to save you. If you get captured then its your problem not mine!" His eyes drilled into mine. "Last chance are you coming?"
I shook my head. "No" I said firmly. My body still a bit numb.
"Then your already to far gone to help," He walked away and out of the door. The girl Jasmine started to walk out but stopped and looked back at me. "Please," She whispered softly hopefully. Pleading. I glared at her.
She walked over to a drawer and pulled out a needle. Filled with green liquid. Walking back over to me she injected me with it, the pain small and gone instantly. I could slowly start to feel my body again. With a sad expression she gazed back at me before leaving.
