Listening to some songs of the south,
And feeling how warm my cheeks are up against my cold hands,
I realize how much I truly love you.
Can you drive me insane?
Yes.
Can you give me the best pep talks in the world?
Yes.
Do I need a break from you time from time?
Heck yes.
You can make me feel loved,
Depressed,
And careless all in the same night.
Just listening to you talk about your childhood and relating it to mine is a true treat.
That's why I never talk,
Because I enjoy listening to you give me life lessons.
Even if your only half sobor.
At moments like this,
It kills me knowing that you won't be around forever.
I wish that these campfire nights would last forever.
Because,
I know when I grow older,
And I find the lover who will love me back,
And I have younger versions of myself running around,
The ones I know you'll spoil,
And you grow old with the rest of time,
I know I'll miss those campfire nights with you.
