I looked down into the box still shocked at what I saw. Sat in front of me was a very beautiful diamond necklace. But the only question is who was it from? Who would spend so much money on such a beautiful necklace like this? For me. "Oh my gosh, honey it is beautiful! I didn't know Troy was such a nice boy. For he would spend so much on something just for you!" my mom said with a smile and in awe. I was so confused at this point. Why would Troy get me something like this? I mean we aren't together and it just makes no sense. He did nothing like this when we were dating before. But then again, no one else I know would do something like this. Maybe he just really wants me back. "I didn't know either. This is so beautiful!" I said to my mom. We just stood there staring at the amazing thing in my hands. All of the sudden, I heard someone coming down the stairs. "Who was at the door honey?" I heard my dads voice behind me, speaking to my mom. "Oh someone left a package for Brianna. Do you think they are real?" My mom asked my dad pointing towards the necklace. I haven't even thought if they were real. I mean it feels and looks real but I would never be to sure. My dad came up behind me and looked over my shoulder. "Whoa! Who gave you that?!" my dad said amazed. Almost as amazed as I was. "I have no idea. Someone dropped it off at the front door and left." I said, puzzled. "Are you sure it is for you then, my dear?" he asked me, making sure what I just received was really mine. "Yes. The top had my name on it -- Look." I said pointed to the box flap that was now torn open, which had read 'Brianna Weatherington'. My dad looked and just nodded his head. "But the question is are they real" I questioned the diamonds. Handing the necklace to my dad so he could get a closer look. He squinted his eyes and looked closer. "They are real." he told me and my mom after a second of looking over the necklace. I just cant believe someone would get me such a thing. What if it was from Troy. I will ask him tomorrow at school. But for right now, it is time to go and take that shower. I feel gross!
