Chapter 5- Who is it from?

Beep. Beep. Beep. 

"Ugh" I groaned turning off my alarm, "Shut up!". I was awoken by the annoying sound of my alarm. I hate that thing. I went to jump up off my bed and ended up tripping over my covers and face-planted onto my floor, creating a big thunk sound. "Ouch!" I yelped as I pushed myself up off the floor. That really hurt! I look at the time and noticed a had a little over an hour. Why was my alarm set for so early in the morning? I just ignored it and took my time getting ready since I was already up and knew I wasn't going back to bed anytime soon. I went into my bathroom and looked in the mirror, not very happy with what I saw. My hair was a mess and I had bags under my eyes. Gross! I grabbed some foundation and started doing my makeup.

After finishing my makeup I went back into my room and starting looking through my closet for an outfit. I wanted something that was casual, yet stylish. Which after a while I chose to wear my no sleeve-white button-up, which had navy blue dots and gold buttons. Then a pair over navy blue jeans to match. I then tucked in the button-up  into  my jeans to make it look a bit better. Though, I felt I was messing something. So I grabbed a skinny black belt with a gold latch. Which my I say looked so much better. For shoes I just went with some black sandals to go with the belt and bring out some black in the outfit. Then finished off the look with a gold Michael Kors watch.

After touching up my outfit a bit and made it the way I liked, I went into my bathroom once more to do my hair. I decided the outfit looked best with my hair in a half-up half-down style. I looked over to get the hair spray when I saw the diamond necklace. I had totally forgotten about it. I really need to ask Troy if it was from him. I grabbed the necklace and put it in my bag so that I could show Troy and ask if it was from him. I finished my hair and was now ready to go. I ran downstairs and saw my mom in the kitchen making breakfast. "Hey mommy! Good morning!" I smiled and sat down at the table. "Well well well, look who is in a good mood this morning" she giggled. "Yeah, well don't get used to it. I woke up early and got time to wake up a bit." I stood up and walked over next to her to see what she was making. "Yeah well, then maybe you should get up this early more often" she said while flipping the pancake in the pan. I swear, she is a pro at flipping pancakes. And well any cooking really. "Ha ha ha very funny! But that's not happening" I informed her before walking over to get a plate out of the cupboard. She then flipped the pancake right onto my plate and smiled. "Just eat your breakfast and shush." I laughed and walked back over to the table to eat my food.

*In the school driveway* 

"Bye mom! I love you!" I blew a kiss to her as I got out of the car. "Love you too sweetie! See you after school" she blew a kiss back as I closed the door. I walked away and saw Liz. I ran up behind her and covered her eyes. "Guess who!" I said in a different voice so it would be harder to guess. "Um... Brianna?" she guessed. "Damn!" I shouted, uncovering her eyes "How did you know?!" I was a bit annoyed. "Love, I know all your voices! I am your best friend" she laughed. I mean I guess that is true. I was then grabbed by the waist and hugged from behind. I blushed at what just happened and turned around to see who it was. Even though I already had an idea. "Hey gorgeous!" Troy said in a husky voice. "Hey Doodlebug" I said back, grabbing his arms from around my waist and held his hands. "I need to talk to you" I told him and pulled him away from everyone. He followed right behind me. "What is it, love?" he asked me a bit worried sounding. "I just wanted to ask if this was from you" I asked pulling the necklace out of my bag. Once he saw the necklace, he looked a bit shocked. But then answered after a second "Of course BB! Only the best for the girl I love." He smiled. I wasn't sure if he was telling the truth since the face he as made before with a long pause. But  I just went with it because why would he lie about something like that. "Awe. Thank you so much!" I leaned in and kissed him passionately. After, he just looked at me in amazed of what just happened before leaning in for another kiss. But I stopped him just in time to say " No no no. That's all you get for now" I smiled and walked away as I heard him yell "Tease!" I just giggled and went to look for Liz.
