Chapter Eight: Swords & Night calls

I roared at the Oni loudly, he twisted the sword between his fingers lining it up near my chest.

I dived the sowed away from my face,, grabbed the handle and quickly reversed the position we were in. I have it one slice to the face, then the leg. Nothing. I growled lowly shoving it into the Oni's chest. The Oni grew angry, picked me up by my pants and threw me into the nearest wall.

The door was kicked open and Derek growled at the masked men. Ethan and Aiden came flying through the window doing the same, the twins tackle the Oni behind Kira. I felt weak, blood trickled down my arm and I'm pretty sure my shoulder is out of place. Within seconds Scott was helping Derek push and Oni out of the house, Ethan and Aiden doing the same.

"Mom! Now!" Scott yelled, Melissa grabbed a cup of mountain ash and threw it in front of the door way, watching as it became a thin line. "How'd you know I was in trouble?"
Scott asked Derek.  "I followed you." He nodded. "For how long?" Scott quirked.

"All day." Derek said, walking off. Scott ran over to me, helping me up slowly. "Are you okay? How's your head? Do you feel dizzy? How much does it hurt? I can take away the pain of you want?" I chuckled at how adorable he could be, I shrugged out of his grasp and nodded towards Melissa.

"Go check on how your dads doing." I meant every single word. Scott bit his lip but nodded running to check on his dad. I slightly limped into the kitchen. "Watch!" Aiden said gripping Kira's wrist and making her touch the force field. She jumped back from the shock it gave her, Aiden smirked satisfied. "She can't get through it. What are you?" Ethan pushed Kira back slightly.

I growled lowly stepping forward. "She's a kitsune. Now leave her alone." Ethan backed up after Derek spoke, Kira sighed and jogged over to My side. "Probably doesn't even know what kind." Derek smirked walking into the kitchen.

I heard a thud, then another. I turned around, the Oni's were smacking the barrier with their swords. "What're they doing?" Derek asked worried.

I felt my heart pacing faster in my chest. "They're checking for weak spots." I breathed. Scott returned to the kitchen phone held to his ear. The Oni's shoved their swords into the barrier creating whole which was just getting bigger. "What do we do?" I growled.

"Nothing. We let them in." Scott said, I turned to him in disbelief. "Allison said they're looking for dark fox spirit. A Nogitsune." I stomped up to Scott staring him dead in the eyes. "What if your what they're looking for huh?" Scott shrugged holding my shoulders.

"Then we'll figure that out later. For now. We let them in." I couldn't argue, I felt to arms wrapped around my waist, the house shook as the Oni's broke the barrier. I tried to fight against, Derek's grasp wanting to protect both of them.

The Oni's marched up to Scott and Kira. Almost in a intimidating pace. They did the same thing they did to me, taking me away. Making me forget about everything.

Scott and Kira fell to the ground, the Oni's disappeared. I rushed over to Scott's side taking his hand in mine, I whimpered slightly at his vulnerable state. "Did it work?" Scott asked. I grinned holding his hand tighter.

"You did it McCall."

"Stiles Stilinski?" The nurse asked. Scott and I both nodded our heads. "Yeah that's the one." She rummaged through paper work and nodded. "Stiles Stilinski, room 128." Scott smiled saying a small thank you.

We roamed the halls till we stumbled upon Stiles room. There was a half eaten cup of jello on the beside table, the sheets in his bed were pushed to one side and his pillow was slightly titled.

"He didn't seem to be gone for long." I shrugged. Scott left the room, asking nurses for the boy. I checked his room again, my eyes landed on a few files.
