Chapter Seventeen 

wednesday has a fanclub? 

3rd person pov

the summer had been eventful as some would say but not for mina,  the summer had simply been boring. she spent it at her house with enid and her family, carlos, samira, marcus and shrimp had been the most welcome home committee to ever exist. and during her time home, mina would occasionally call and text serena just to keep her updated and make sure the girl was safe. 

but today was the first day back to school and mina sat in the car with enid, samira and carlos as they drove to the school. minas head rested on enids shoulder as they stared at the road in front of them. mina was excited to get back to school and be rooming with serena again. she had missed the girl. they got to the school before the others did and they separated from each other so enid could go to her room and mina could go to hers. 

she hummed as she walked into her room and she began to decorate the side of her room. she had her headphones in as she put up the posters and added the sparkle lights above her bed. she had gotten more siren posters and more colors for the side of her room and while she stood in there decortating, she heard the sound of the door opening and she turned to see serena 

"RENA" she exclaimed as she ran over and she hugged her close to her. serena laughed as she wrapped her arms around the girl with a smile 

"help me grab my things?" she asked and mina nodded as she went and grabbed serenas bags and suitcases with the girl and helped her upstairs. mina moved the girls things over to her bed and she put them down before she walked over to her bed and sat down as she turned her head and looked at the girl 

"so you and bianca? how thats been going?" mina asked the girl and serena smiled at her softly. mina laughed as she turned her body and her head rested on her hand as she stared at serena and serena shrugged

"we're still together, didn't see each other that much over the summer. i spent the time with xavier considering i needed a place to stay and didn't want to be with my family but hes not coming back. he got pulled from the school due to the whole accused murderer thing. his dad drove me back, hes going to study in switzerland or something. i've been able to call biance and talk to her but not as much as i would want to. i got a job and everything" serena updated mina on everything and mina sighed over the things that happened with xavier 

"im gonna miss him but maybe its a good thing that hes not coming back, he doesn't deserve to deal with the things that have been happening here. you see that wednesday has a fanclub?" she asked her and serena laughed as she nodded 

"yeah i found out when me and bianca got caught trying to run away, we had been together for a month and then her mom found us and decided that she wanted to take bianca. i couldn't go with her so i went with xavier. i have a fanclub too, its my own personal hell" she exclaimed and mina laughed as she sat up and smiled at her. 

"so you going to pyre tomorrow night?" mina asked the girl and serena nodded 

"yeah im going with bianca, are you going with enid?" she questioned and mina nodded 

"thats the plan but knowing how things usually go, wednesday will probably be tagging along" mina stated 

and she was right because the next day at the time of the pyre, there mina was with enid and wednesday but wednesday had a more panicked look on her face than she usually does and the two girls caught mina up with everything she needed to know. mina was shocked to find out that wednesday had a stalker and much more that they were trying to kill her. 

mina was confused when she saw wednesday crawling her way into the pyre and she stared at her before she heard the sound of a womens voice and she turned focusing on that rather than what wednesday was doing 

"good evening and welcome to the founders pyre. tonight we're gonna start by singing the nevermore alma mater" she exclaimed and mina turned seeing that serena was now on the stage next to bianca as they all began to sing the song together. at the end, the crowd cheered and in came the new principle dancing to a song and they all stare at him. 

"hello, fellow outcasts! and welcome back to nevermore. in your principle, barry dort and tonight we celebrate a new era. yeah! now, i know change can be scary but you don't have to be afraid. you know why? because we are outcast strong! yes, we are!" he exclaimed and mina turned back to wednesday who was in the pyre and enid was calling out to the girl. mina moved over as they waited for the girl to get out of it 

"wednesday!" mina called out to her. the wings of the bird rose and the bird burned as the wings began to flap and the bird was lifted into the air as it flew above them. mina stared at the bird before wednesday came out and mina reached her hand out to her as she grabbed ahold and pulled her out 

"are you okay?" she asked her with worry in her voice and out came wednesday holding her story and mina stared at her before principle dort asked wednesday to come on stage and he unvailed a painting that had wednesday, enid, bianca, serena and eugene on it. she got on the stage and took the mic 

"tongith is our banquet of discontent and we shall gladly feast on those who would subdue us. our fight is just beginning and im ripping the bandaid off the scab of civility, and will not cease until our enemies have been vanquished and by enemies, i mean any imbecile stupid enough to cheer on some shallow, rabble-rosuing diatribe like that. you thought i was your hero? im not, i always play dirty and i never fight fair. the only side im on is my own and the only place ill lead you is off a cliff so do not put me on a pedestal because i will burn it down" she exclaimed and she purned the painting before she turned to look at the group and she lifted the torch before she got off the stage and brought enid with her and mina stared at her/ 

"thats one way to make a statement" mina said

welcome back mina and enid, i missed you more than life. the way im trying to remember how i ended season one because its been two years since i wrote for it so i don't remember anything
