3rd person pov
after they had been saved, mina kept a close eye on enid, she didn't want the girl to potentially get hurt again so she did what any good girlfriend would do and she stuck by her side in every form of the word. she watched her every move, hid in the shadows, acted like she didn't exist but she watched enid because she needed to keep her safe. it was the only way but right now, she sat in her room with serena as serena laid on her bed and let out a soft sigh
"are you gonna go on that overnight trip?" serena asked the girl as she sat up and mina thought about it for a second. she didn't know if she would or not, it was hard to say.
"enid keeps asking me to and apparently the only way to keep bruno away from her is to be around her more so obviously im going to go, are you gonna be okay being here alone? i know you and bianca are having some...trouble" she exclaimed, serena sighed as she sat up
" im actually coming, can't stand being here alone and honestly I don't even know what's going on between us all of a sudden, she's become completely obsessed with Morticia and being her, I don't even know what it is. But she won't talk to me she won't look at me she acts like I don't exist it feels like the time before we were dating, and I hate feeling like that because it shouldn't feel like that" serena stated and mina nodded her head
"i get it but maybe talking to her would be best, even if she does avoid you and act like you don't exist, remind her that you do exist because you are her girlfriend and she needs to know you exist" mina told the girl as she pulled her jacket on and serena thought about that for a second.
"how are you and Enid? i mean...i know Brunos still trying to get with her even though he knows that she's with you and doesn't feel the same about him at all" serena asked and mina froze thinking for a second. she could feel the scales on her arms, the wetness in her hair, the way she could never truly hide the fact that she was a mermaid and nothing like Enid. Enid needed someone like bruno, stable, kind and perfect. mina wasn't stable, she was deep.
"if bruno will keep his nose out of our business, then we're fine. I don't even know what his obsession with her is I mean she's great and honestly I do get it because I am in love with her but that's because she's my girlfriend He set up this idea of her in his head and he keeps trying to force it on her knowing that she doesn't feel the same so if he can't remember his place then I'll put him in it but other than that we're fine we're actually really good" mina stated and serena smiled
"im glad one of us is happy" serena spoke, then there was a knock at the door and serena opened it to see enid standing there with her bag
