Night Cats

Ch. 2 Family Matters

It was another normal day, Thomas was playing with Stark and Mac, while Flower and Zack were talking about what they were going to do tonight. The owners were talking about party they were going to.
"Good News", Thomas thought as he heard about the party.
"That means I can stay out late tonight", he thought,
"I think I'll head to 'Purr-ger King' and see if I'll run into Cupcake". After Thomas knew his plan for the night, he went through his daily routine, he played Go Fish with Zack and ate his lunch. His owners left at 4:15 to go the party. Thomas still waited until 9:30 to head out.

Once his parents went to sleep he went through the cat door and walked in the direction of Purr-ger King. Not much later Zack and Flower came out and went towards "Meow". Thomas tried to talk to them, but they were gone before he could say anything. Purr-ger King was about one and half blocks in the opposite direction of "Meow".

It took him about 6 minutes to get there. It was in an ally way in a surprisingly clean dumpster. He got there and didn't see any sign of Cupcake. He sat down at a booth and ordered a medium fries and a small cat-ca cola. He finished the fries and the soda and was about ready to leave when Tiger, a slightly chubby striped Persian, walked into Purr-ger King.
"Hey, Man", Thomas said happy to see him.
"Oh, Hey Thomas didn't think I'd see you here", Tiger said kind of surprised.
"Well, I was pretty hungry and I went to 'Meow' just last night", Thomas said. "I can understand", Tiger said agreeingly,
"I Don't like to go to the same place two nights in a row either".
"Yeah", Thomas said,
"So what were you doin' before you came here?", Thomas asked a bit curious.
"Uh, Not much really", he said thinking "I ran into Flower and Stark, we talked for a little bit, but not much else".
"What did you talk about?", he asked still curious.
"Oh, Uh... You and Mac and they told me they were going to "Meow".
"Oh... Ok", Thomas said.
"Ok, I'll let you go", Thomas said a little sleepy,
"By the Way, have you seen Cupcake tonight?", he asked.
"No, not tonight", Tiger responded.
"Alright, I'll see you later Tiger".
"Bye Thomas"

Thomas got up and walked out the Purr-ger King. He was planning on just going back home until he saw Flower and Zack. He walked towards them and asked,
"Hey Guys, What are you doin' tonight?"
"Oh, Hey Thomas, Not much", Zack said looking kind of sad,
"We went to 'Meow', but a group of Toms came in and ruined the night".
"Ah that sucks", he said feeling sorry.
"Yeah", Zack said,
"Well, I think I'll head back home".
"See ya Thomas".
"Bye Zack"
And as this was going on Flower was scowling with her paws folded.
"Are you feeling alright, Flower?", Thomas said a bit worried.
"Yes", Flower mumbled looking annoyed,
"I'm fine"
"Alright... Are you sure, I don't want you to get sick", Thomas said still worried.
"Yes I'm Fine", she said angrily,
"Why don't you just leave me alone!"
She stormed off in the direction of the house. Thomas was shocked. He kinda felt sad, but he understood. Him and Flower weren't that and she was so much older than him.

Thomas decided to head back home even though he knew Flower would be there. It took him about 10 minutes to get home because he was walking slowly. When he got home he jumped through the cat door. He was doing his best not to wake up Flower. He went over and lied down next to Stark. He was snoring loading in a corner of the room. Thomas was really tired after so he fell asleep immediately... Ready for the next night.
