Hellooooo everyone!

Been a while.

Friday 08/08/25

I've been in the U.S for 4 weeks now and tomorrow, we're going to a convention!!!

I'll be cosplaying Clarisse La Rue from Percy Jackson...

Here's what I got for now:
The shirt, the shorts, the necklace, and little wrist band thingies

I've also got the wooden rod type thing for the base of the spear. It's 66 inches long, or about 5'6" feet, and we got it a Home Depot. This is a picture taken at night, because we made the spear a last minute thing—at the moment when I'm writing this my dad is spray-painting the EVA foam that's gonna be the metal part of the spear.

And here's the EVA foam layout, as well as a ribbon and a leather cord for decoration:

And this is the inspo picture, although I had several at the beginning I just went with this one as it's easier to follow (I didn't make the breastplate cause it was too last-minute):

For the hair I'm going to put mine in a high ponytail with 2 braids along the sides of my head (I hope it turns out okay because I'm going to be doing this in the car).

For decorations I'm gonna have the CHB Pegasus necklace that you can see in the first pic and a red ribbon (same as the one going on the spear) in my hair.

I unfortunately don't have any makeup, but I don't think Clarisse would wear any anyways.

Also quick question:
Do you guys say "Clar-e-sse"
Or "Clare-isse" ?

Let me know cause idk anymore 😭
